Last week, we walked past this wonderful little restaurant — Nalu Baloo — and decided to stop for breakfast. And wow, everything was so delicious! ☕️🍳
While enjoying our food, we watched the surfers riding the waves nearby. Naturally, our five-year-old was completely mesmerized and said he really wanted to try!
The rules say surfing starts at 7 years old. Strict? Yes. But… what if we talk to a coach?
And guess what — the coach agreed to give our little one a chance to meet the wave!
Although our scheduled lesson had to be moved (sometimes the wave needs some self-care too), we still made it!
We had the most amazing coach — Artem.
Safety protocols officially start from age 7, and it’s a big responsibility — both for the center and the coach.
But when a young child is truly ready, and when parents trust and support them — magic happens.
We were right there on the wave.
And it was incredible.
Yes — the very first wave knocked him right into the wall!
But Artem caught him like a pro, and our little one got back up with a huge smile.
From there on, it was pure magic.
It’s not easy at all — it’s actually really hard.
But Artem managed to help our 5-year-old stand up on the board — and he stayed up for a whole 1.5 minutes!
He came out of the water absolutely glowing with happiness.
Artem, thank you again — this was an unforgettable experience.
We loved everything at Nalu Baloo:
— the amazing coffee
— the delicious breakfast
— the warm, perfect service
— and of course, the incredible, caring coaches who know how to connect with both adults and even the youngest guests.
Too often, kids are curious and full of desire to try — but doors are closed to them.

Отмечали в Nalu Baloo день рождения мужа. Очень понравилась организация праздника со стороны ресторана. Все четко, вкусно, душевно. Менеджер во мно гом шел навстречу, помогал с ответами на все возникающие вопросы, связанные с организацией мероприятия. От ресторана посоветовали аниматоров для детей. Работой аниматоров также остались очень довольны, дети были увлечены и счастливы:)

Отметили день рождения дочки в Nalu Baloo. Если в целом - то все было просто замечательно! Отмечу, что особенно понравилось. Компания у нас была большая - 15 детей и 10 взрослых. На 15 детей взяли 3 волны по часу - все было четко, вовремя, тренеры хорошие, дети были в восторге. Еще брали 2 мастер-класса по приготовлению коктейлей - тоже все четко, вовремя, девушка-бармен очень увлекла детей процессом приготовления, они все вышли с тремя разными коктейлями, и с гордостью делились с родителями. Мы забронировали зону столиков непосредственно у волн - всем было очень комфортно общаться в разных форматах, за столиками, на диванчиках, у окна глядя на детей на волне. Работа ресторана тоже порадовала - все выносили четко, по времени, никаких задержек, официанты всегда в доступе и быстро принимали заказы от гостей и хорошо обслуживали. Для меня как для мамы - это был тот редкий случай детского дня рождения, когда я могла спокойно расслабиться и проводить время с другими родителями, не заботясь о контроле за ходом мероприятия - весь контроль взял на себя персонал Nalu Baloo. Спасибо за чудесные впечатления от праздника!!!
