I have been studying here for the second year, which can be said... In two years I have completed 23 disciplines, and I have never come across an incompetent teacher. Of course, there are no perfect ones - that's the way we people are, but I haven't met any frankly "bad", incompetent teachers. There are problems with organization, there are problems with teaching methods - although this is already subjective - but they are always experts in their field who will tell you the material with such fire in their eyes that even the linear regression of the covariance series will seem interesting to you for independent study. The building and dormitories are at the highest level, there is no need to tell here - you need to live it yourself, look at it, and evaluate it, but personally I am proud of the conditions in which I study and live during school hours. There are also some buffets on the territory where they sell fast food and drinks, as well as recreation areas - they make the "windows" in our university not boring, wasted time, but really a window into which you can breathe freely. Nowhere in the administrative part will you meet people who don't give a damn about you - even on the smallest issues, not even in their competence - but these people will be happy to tell you what to do and how to do it. And the best accreditation in our country (and, I think, in the region) allows me to be sure that tomorrow I will not find myself on the sidelines of the labor market. These are not all the advantages, but they are already enough to fall in love with this university. But there is nothing perfect, so it is worth mentioning the disadvantages - but not for the sake of criticism, but rather for the sake of honesty of the review, and for the administration to understand the students' views on certain things. The first is a common problem in all universities - the presence of subjects in the curriculum that have nothing to do with the student's future profession. So, for example, in IT, this is mathematical analysis (according to comrades). The second problem is the organization. So, in early autumn, we were supposed to undergo a medical examination for 5 days at the university, but I found out about it from an email that arrived on the second day after the start of these five days. This is a vivid example of how students don't always know about important things, and I think they often miss opportunities. Thirdly, the saddest thing for me personally, and for many of my friends (I counted about 20-25 dissatisfied people from the entire circle of 30-35 people!), is the limited number of places in the Russian branch. The topic of language, as well as the topic of national self-determination, is very sensitive in our country, and by no means do I want to say that it is necessary to limit any of the other two branches. I perfectly understand the university's desire for full-time education in English. However, for our stream, the 2023 admission year, there is no obligation to study in English. In this regard, if senior officials of our administration or other authorized persons read my comment, I would like to ask you, on behalf of many students, to equalize the number of teachers and study places in the Russian department with the rest of the departments, since it is too difficult for us to perceive and study information in any other languages. We can study in any of the three languages offered, but the quality of education in the case of studying in Russian will be much higher simply because we are native speakers of this language. Love is not an idealization. Love is the acceptance of something for what it is. And I really love my university, and that's why I'm writing this review. I hope some young man will be inspired and come here. I think he'll be happy with his choice, just like me.
