I visited this library when it was named after Pushkin A.S., it was the 80s. I had to spend quite a lot of time there, because in my student years there was no Internet. I always remember the feeling of coolness, something huge and solid and the smell. It seemed to me that it was the smell of knowledge, intelligence and tranquility.

To just go in there, see what books are there at all, whether you need it, you need to make a library card.
Okay, this is generally understandable, but how can you explain that they don't give you books to take home, but they need my address to make this library card? What are you going to do with it?
