You can talk endlessly about the Smithsonian Museums in Washington. The way Americans organize museum exhibitions is worthy of respect and... acceptance of experience. Specifically, I would live in the Museum of Aviation and Cosmonautics for two weeks. Well, just think (well, look at the photo): from the Arab astrolabe of the 11th century, to the Wright brothers airplane and Soviet lunar modules. Almost everything that flew in the first and second world wars, almost all rockets, and even the Boeing 747 cabin, which you can enter, including the cockpit. Tomahawks above his head, Gagarin's suit and ID card behind glass. Everything (or almost everything) can and should be touched, twisted, pulled/pushed and entered. If you want to control flights on an aircraft carrier or simulate a barrel on an F-16 simulator, it's easy! Well, what can I say -mast, mast repeat. #aviation #cosmonautics #museums

It's a very interesting museum. And most of all, I liked the cartography and navigation department there.

There is no more impressive museum dedicated to space and aviation anywhere else. Exhibits are collected from all eras and countries, from the Wright brothers airplane to the Vostok station.

A great museum, a lot of interesting things. There you can see exhibits from the first flight to modern technologies and the latest space flights. I advise you to visit.

The incredible delight of huge, real exhibits! A laboratory where children create their own flying objects and launch them in a wind tunnel. There are a lot of children on school buses, in classes. I definitely recommend visiting with children! And even without, if you are big boys and girls 👍

The museum is great! But it is very sad that almost all the exhibits from the Cosmos pavilion at VDNH, so beloved by us since childhood, turned out to be there, which were simply thrown out into the street and sold for a song during the perestroika period

An interesting museum. The hall where cartography is shown is especially interesting.
