An original and very national collection of paintings. There are many historical artifacts from the Stone Age to the history of the Soviet Union. The expositions are expertly selected. The guides are passionate about their profession and don't let you get bored. Thank you. A must-visit.

A magnificent museum! Admission is free (only 10p is asked for shoe covers), the 1.5-hour tour is free! Beautifully and well decorated, interesting exhibits, a story about history, about the paintings in the hall - the customs and customs of the people are very vividly revealed before our eyes)

We visited the museum in April 2021. The exposition is quite diverse - from archaeological finds and ethnographic exhibits to gifts to the President of South Ossetia, information about the heroes of the Second World War and photographs of August 2008. One of the advantages is free admission and a guided tour. One of the disadvantages is that there is no single concept, it would be good to have some kind of interactive experience for the new museum.
