I recently finished my work with the university as a research assistant, and would not recomed to any one unless you are forced((. They not only refused to pay daily allowances before the start of the field works (we had to use our own money during the trip), but after the work done and results delivered, without any shame calmly state that the payment for the work done and the allowances too are to be delivered a month after the finishing of the field work. Basically we have finished our job, and still can't even receive our own money which we spent on the trip, what should have been covered by the NU, and we have to wait for several weeks!!! WOuld not have signed to work with them, if had known they would cause so much inconvenience. And the problem is not with the research team and our coordinator, the problem is with the people that run all that bureaucracy (it is the School of Sciences and Humanities divison in Nazarbayev University), shame on you guys. what a low level of professionalism. Tried to describe it in the nicest way still, it is just terrible and awful

I go to the pool at Nazarbayev University. It is large, clean, warm, there are few people in the daytime, there is a sauna, clean showers, a good locker room. I think this is the best pool in the city! There are also many other sports sections: rock climbing, basketball, tennis, etc. Great place! I am very happy after each visit.

The professors are good, but the clerks from the administration are often incompetent. It is worth noting the library, a very good assortment of books and librarians really love their work
