A great place to walk. It's an hour's drive from Minsk. There is parking in front of the park and on the territory, very close to the castle. The castle is of course very beautiful, everything is clean, smooth, green lawn, ducks in the pond. Entrance to the castle square is free, and inside the building itself is paid. There are a couple of cafes where you can have a budget snack, there is a hotel, a restaurant and a souvenir shop. In the area around the building itself, you can ride rented bicycles, a rental house is also near the castle. You should definitely stop by Mir Castle, if you are driving, it is nearby and everyone is interested in walking around the towers (for a fee)!

There is a lot to see in Nesvizh. The town is very quiet, it's nice to walk in it. The church is magnificent, you definitely need to go down to the tomb. But all this is doubly impressive when you know the history of the place and people, so an excursion, an audio guide, etc. are simply necessary. A very beautiful park with a pond. Well, the castle-palace itself has been carefully restored, deserves attention both outside and inside. Respect to the museum staff, painstakingly collecting artifacts.
The world and Nesvizh in one day are hard, there are too many impressions, and in the end you miss a lot of interesting things. It is better to come by car and devote one day to each castle.

A beautiful palace complex of the late Middle Ages. If there is no excursion, I recommend an audio guide - it is quite inexpensive and interesting to listen to even for school-age children. The place is very atmospheric and will be interesting to many. It is comfortable to walk around the exposition, you will not have to climb and descend the steep stairs of the castle walls (as in Mirsky), so the tour is quite suitable for elderly people too. In addition, I recommend visiting the city center, going to the local Catholic church, looking at the town hall and tasting local cuisine in the tavern (we choose by rating). It will be very picturesque on the way - I guarantee it! :)

Huge, maximally filled inside. The audio guide is very convenient and interesting. The territory is beautiful, clean, well-groomed, if desired, you can just take a walk, or you can swim on the local beach. I was upset only by the staff (( they are straight rude, there were no open conflicts, but the feeling that 'we came and prevented them from doing their own business' is very bright, the most interesting thing was that we drove a week in Belarus to different cities and attractions, such an attitude was met from the locals only in this palace (sad(

An excellent palace with a large number of exhibits and a good condition of the premises and territory. Special thanks to the restorers who have been putting this historical object in order for more than ten years, as well as to the leadership of the Republic of Belarus for supporting the history. The work has been done titanic.
The palace immediately after the entrance resembles the Dutch style. The courtyard and the surrounding building somewhat resemble the courtyard of the royal palace in The Hague (Netherlands).
Engineering structures - a moat and earthen slopes outside the walls were designed as it turned out by the Dutch several centuries ago. The nature around is also interesting. The old park around the palace and the lake between the palace and the church are good.
I recommend it to everyone, especially lovers of antiquity.

But I would like to warn you about the cafe, which is right at the entrance to the castle - Barbara. The low rating of 1.9 speaks for itself. But all the same, the cafe safely welcomes guests of the castle. (If the stars are lit....) In addition to the low quality of the dishes, the same service, high prices, they can still cheat here. On August 12, we were shortchanged by 8 rubles (the bill for three, waiter Anastasia). The money is not great.But we leave Belarus with a sense of bitterness - TOURISTS ARE BEING DECEIVED! We can say that the cafe has nothing to do with the castle. But...Who visits it? Who does it work for? I was impressed. A place for the soul, for lovers of history and hiking. I really liked the castle (it's better to look at it with an excursion), right in the castle you can eat in a restaurant in the interiors of the Middle Ages, have a cup of coffee, walk around the castle park. Be sure to visit the church with the tomb of the Radziwill family, go to the Town Hall, just wander around the city. I want to come back here again!

I got a lot of pleasure from visiting! Stunning views, beautiful architectural ensemble, everything has been restored. The castle is more than just "great". This object should be a mandatory point to visit.
The castle is well maintained both from the outside and from the inside. A huge exposition. The guide told an entertaining and knowledgeable story. We learned a lot not only about the castle, but also about the history of the region, peoples, customs, customs, way of life, weapons, wars... Additionally, for many exhibits there is a note in the audio guide with extended information.
The castle is built quite spacious. It is quite comfortable to move around it, even with a child (mine was 4 years old).
The castle is surrounded by a very large park. The area is very picturesque. This is a good place for photo shoots.
There is an infrastructure where you can eat, ride bicycle rickshaws, buy souvenirs, paintings, and the like.
I think you can safely hang out here for the whole day.

There is a free toilet and two tourist shops in the castle itself. Nearby there is a beautiful Catholic cathedral, built by the former owners of the Radziwills castle and a park founded by them. Then we checked into the Palace Hotel, which is located on the territory of the complex, which is also very cool, because there is an opportunity to wander around the courtyard almost alone, when all the tour groups have already left. We had dinner and breakfast at the Hetman restaurant, which is also located on the territory of the castle. And in the morning we also took a walk through the park that surrounds the castle. The feeling that I caught myself being inside - as if someone lives there now, and I'm not talking about Barbara Radziwill) The furniture and decor are very cool, made thoughtfully with love. I plunged into this place with my head. The interiors are amazing, the territory is large, a picturesque moat around and a beautiful bridge.
Next to the castle, you can rent medieval dresses (modern, but they look gorgeous!) and take a bunch of beautiful photos against the background of the castle, ride a carriage with neat and stylized coachmen.
Every hall is a delight, more than once during the whole time it took my breath away and literally opened my mouth.
Nesvizh is also worth a walk. A beautiful, small, cozy city with clean streets.

We were a family 6 times. Every time we had fresh impressions. The park has a separate page for description. We also stayed at the castle hotel a couple of times. Rooms for every taste. 10 years ago there were three of us - a standard room - just enough. The other day, on the anniversary of 15 years of marriage, we checked into a VIP room. We accommodated the whole family (there are already six of us)), there was enough space for everyone. And the number corresponded to the declared status. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant (on the floor below the rooms) also at a decent level.
Thanks to the staff for their hard work. We always like everything here!

One of the Radzevil castles. Locally, almost "across the street" from the Mir Castle. But it is better to spend the whole day visiting it. There are many places for fans of filming. For those who want to learn something new life hack. Join the formed tour. It will take about an hour with a tour of almost the entire palace, a visit to the inter-wall passage and the operating chapel. Then, if you wish, you can once again go around the halls you like, see the corridor of the "black queen".
500 meters from the castle there is a church with the tomb of the Radzevils family. The caretaker of the church, for a small donation to the temple, will take you to the crypt and tell you almost more about the guide in the castle and the family, its individual members and the church itself.

A palace and castle complex located in the northeastern part of the city of Nesvizh in the Minsk region. An architectural monument of the XVI—XVIII centuries. It was founded by Prince Nikolai Christopher Radziwill Sirotka in 1582, and the main works were completed by 1600. During the XVI — XX centuries it was the residence of the princes Radziwills.
He got his nickname — "Orphan" — not because he lost his parents early, but because they once lost him in some corridor during a high-society ball. The boy began to cry, and the king himself passed by, stroked his head and said, "Why are you crying, orphan?" Since then, this nickname has stuck to him.
Nesvizh Castle is the ancestor of a new type of bastion fortifications in Belarus — the so-called New Italian system. At the time of construction, the castle was considered one of the strongest and most perfect buildings of this type. There was no shortage of artillery, handguns and military ammunition in the castle. The castle was of great military importance for several centuries, and was the place of concentration of the private army of the Radziwills.
Externally, the palace has always looked very romantic: a monumental building with harmonious towers of different sizes, raised above the water, drowns in the greenery of trees.
After several reconstructions, the medieval feudal castle turned into a palace and park ensemble with a large open courtyard surrounded by monumental buildings. Many architectural styles are intertwined in it, which indicates the use of artistic achievements from different historical eras. Decorated with slender towers and turrets, the complex acquired a romantic appeal, and the water in the ponds and the bright greenery of the landscaped castle completed the formation of the palace and castle complex, one of the best in Eastern Europe.
The architectural ensemble of the Nesvizh Castle is currently a historical and cultural museum-reserve.

The best castle in Belarus. We slightly regretted that we did not decide to rent a room here in order to fully feel the surroundings. Both externally and internally, it is a great place to walk. Convenient paid parking. There are many shops. Inside it is very cozy and beautiful! We can say that it was Nesvizh who made our vacation in Belarus! We will definitely come back!

Everything is very interesting here and you need to see it with your own eyes. Radziwills, of course, cannot be compared with the Romanovs, but it is still impressive. Under the USSR, there was a sanatorium here. Why should a sanatorium be made from an ancient beautiful castle of a noble famous family, the founders of many local cities??? Accordingly, the exposition is sparse, the directorate has to buy back the exhibits at auctions. I wasn't smart enough to save it. It is very clear how the museum staff is trying to restore and assemble something. A beautiful ensemble with an impressive moat with water all around.
