Part of the central Nadir Divan Begi ensemble in Bukhara, named after the vizier Imamkuli Khan. I wonder why the ensemble is named not after Khan, but after his first minister? Of the many beautiful madrasas in Bukhara, this madrasa, which is quite typical in its architectural design, stands out primarily for the amazing mosaic on the main facade. There are not just ornaments and stylized quotes in Arabic from the Koran, but beautiful birds in blue. This is probably one of the best restored historical buildings in Bukhara. All the mosaics are in place, the building looks great. And inside, as usual in Bukhara, there is a restaurant and shops.
