The stunning urban genre sculpture "Nose" was installed on the Alley of Lanterns on August 15, 2013. The sculptural composition of the satirical novel "The Nose" by Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol, written in 1832-1833 and published in 1836 in the magazine Sovremennik, is dedicated. Based on the story in 1977, director Rolan Bykov made a historical and dramatic feature film of the same name. The genre urban sculptural composition "Nose" is a popular photo zone among the older generation of Brest residents and guests of Brest.

One of the compositions of Gogol Street, there are many different elements from the writer's work. It is very interesting to visit, there are always many interested tourists and visitors of the city.

One of the significant statues of lanterns in honor of Gogol's work "The Nose". as a local resident, I will note that the statue is popular among visitors to the city and tourists. However, the statue was vandalized in the form of graffiti, but was cleaned over the next 2 days. And thanks to the legend - that if you rub your nose, you will be lucky, the statue has acquired a fair amount of shine in the area of the tip of the nose))

the sculpture is interesting, there is a stroller with a bench nearby, you can relax. Gogol Street must be traversed all the way. All the sculptures are worthy.

A cultural place for tourists to visit in the very center of the city, in fact, like the entire Gogol Street. It's nice to take a walk on a sultry summer day in the shade of the trees.

I accidentally found this sculpture, it's very funny, even in St. Petersburg there is nothing like it, but in Brest there is!)

Creatively, it's a good idea to create sculptures based on his works on Gogol Street.

I can't say that it's worth going somewhere for Gogol's nose, but I can't raise my hand to put 4 points.
