We visited Almaty in February 2024, stayed at this hotel for 5 days.The advantages are the excellent location and delicious breakfasts.Unfortunately, there are more disadvantages, although the concept of the hotel itself and the hotel itself are good!The staff- when you are at the hotel, they almost never greet you, even if you greeted them,(staff training suffers),drinking water in the rooms- there are carafes and you have to draw water from the cooler, which is located in the corridor, but I have a question- does anyone follow how these carafes are washed???If the decanters are in this condition, I'm not sure that the coolers are properly cleaned and processed during! And this is the source of infection! Therefore, many hotel guests bought bottled water. Room cleaning - is there any control on the part of the hotel staff (senior managers), how the room is prepared for the arrival of the guest and how the current cleaning is carried out? I think not!This also applies to bed linen! We went into the room - there was a torn duvet cover, linen is changed every three days - they changed it for us, but there were torn pillowcases!I am very much in favor of ’their concept of a ’green" hotel, but... not to the same extent! In the shower, the shampoo and gel provided by the hotel are attached with special fasteners, and there is no shelf at all, and I can't use these accessories because of allergies, I use my own, but where should I put them? I think they have guests who find it inconvenient too! At breakfast (especially from 8-9.00 in the morning), there are not enough tables, yes- it's rush hour and many people come there for work, but we need to think about this issue.
The hotel manager must work out these issues, conduct staff training, or change the manager!You just need to monitor the quality of the services provided by the hotel.

I often stay in the Novotel hotel chain. And I like everything: the service, the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the mattress and pillows. The breakfasts at this particular hotel exceeded all expectations. It's just that you want to eat everything: it's diverse and delicious. There was even freshly squeezed juice. Everything is fine. I recommend it.

A good hotel in the city center next to the ski lift on Kok-You. For early check-in, subject to room availability, they charge almost as much as per day. For late check-out as well. The room cleaning is very mediocre. Water bottles are not provided. There is a cooler in the hallway and glasses in the room. But hardly anyone is responsible for the cleanliness of the cooler. When trying to boil water in a kettle, I was horrified by what was inside the kettle. Dirt, rust, lack of mesh in the spout. After the call at the reception, the kettle was washed.
The room service works well. Food is brought to the room quickly.
A huge plus of the hotel is breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, including meat, fish, soup, porridge, fruits, vegetables, pastries, you can make yourself freshly squeezed juice.
The hotel also has a swimming pool (small) and a spa. I couldn't go there, because I had a terrible headache all day. There is no doctor in the hotel, they can only call an ambulance. There is a blood pressure monitor, but it is in the spa area. The spa is open until 23.00. When we tried to ask for a blood pressure monitor around 12 a.m., we received a response from one manager at the reception that the spa was already closed. And after 15 minutes, another manager got a blood pressure monitor. So in case of something, you need to be more resilient.

Отель отличный, персонал очень доброжелательный и приветливый.
В номерах есть всё необходимое, чисто и уютно, на завтрак большой выбор блюд,обеды тоже отличные) Расположение удобное ,всё в шаговой доступности. Был только один минус, недалеко от отеля расположена сцена ,где проводились какие-то музыкальные мероприятия и очень сильно долбила музыка. Днём у нас была конференция и музыка так долбила,что аж дрожали стекла и пол,так что имейте в виду .А так отель и персонал супер ,огромное спасибо за радушнее гостеприимство 🌺

This hotel definitely does not pull in a room for $ 300 per night. The level of three stars, for space money for its location and room category.

I really liked the hotel! Convenient location, near the cable car, metro, historical museum. The staff is polite and attentive. Another trump card of the hotel is breakfast! Such a variety and so delicious! There is a spa - Finnish sauna, swimming pool, massage. Taxi service at any time of the day takes two to three minutes. I would like to return here, as well as to Alma-Ata.

Of the minuses: minor flaws in the decoration of the room - scratches, cracks, bound upholstery of the chairs. The cooler is on the floor, but there is no water in the room.

Отличный отель- удобная кровать, пара подушек на выбор, идеальные полотенца, очень приятные шампунь-кондиционер-мыло для рук в ванне, отличный завтрак с фруктами и десертами, небольшой бассейн с сауной. Место расположения самое центральное, в одном перекрёстке обменники, рядом магазины, рестораны. Цена высокая, но сервис её полностью оправдывает. Рядом подъёмник Кок-тобе, в отеле дают ваучеры, по котором на него скидка 30%, всем советую подняться!

I join all the laudatory reviews of the Novotel hotel! a wonderful hotel with a great location! The main attraction of the city of Koktobe is within walking distance, and at the reception they give a voucher for visiting Koktobe. I was at this hotel with my fiance and dad, everyone was satisfied! I would like to note the polite staff who quickly responds to all requests, as well as the opportunity to call the master if something does not work in the room (in our case, it was a night light). The hotel is happy to meet its guests halfway, and creates all conditions for them to be satisfied. The only thing was that we didn't have time for breakfast, so we had to give them up. But I will definitely come back in the future to evaluate everything. Thank you to Novotel for the warm memories of yourself!

Великолепное расположение , все объекты в шаговой доступности : канатная дорога Кок-Тобе ( скидка от отеля 30% на покупку билета при проживании в отеле ) , парк 28 панфиловцев , театр оперы и балета . Хорошие комфортные номера , небольшой, но уютный бассейн + сауна , хороший завтрак ( каша, омлет, вареные яйца , фрукты , бекон, овощи ) . Внимательный и услужливый персонал . Цена и качество соответствуют заявленной стоимости

Отель в плане проживания прекрасный.
Всё чисто, постоянно убирают.
Ходил на массаж и в бассейн, всё на высшем уровне.
Но есть минусы:
1) завтрак никакой. Йогурты вроде и есть, да они стоят в стеклянной таре и сам гадай какой он.
Кофемашина одна. Если много народу, так себе конечно.
Да и тесная сама по себе зона шведского стола.
Лучше ходить в ближайшие рестораны в ТЦ, где за эти деньги Вам всё принесут.
2) Если окна выходят на площадь, а в выходные там иногда проводят концерт, отель просто трясётся 🫨!
Но всё равно мне понравилось.

We had a rest from September 26-30. There is a polite staff at the reception. According to my privilege, they offered a mini bar for free, because there were no superior rooms. As it turned out later, the minibar was turned on at almost everyone) I had to ask for toothbrushes, tea. Because this was not brought without a request.

Отель для своей ценовой категории на 5+! Удобное месторасположение, для гостей есть теплый подземный паркинг, из плюсов также отметить нужно шикарный тирамису на завтрак и в целом завтрак отличный! Из минусов это туалет со створчатыми дверьми, не дает чувство уюта и нужной шумоизоляции. Бассейн и спа слабоватые, водичка прохладная, нет хаммама, я бы хотел видеть в такой зоне горячий джакузи…если же хотите поплавать, то лучше посетить старый добрый Рахат Палас. Забыл добавить что guest service работают 24/7 и заказать можно любое блюдо, но вот сырную тарелку хотелось бы больше по граммажу, очень мало сыра и нет грецкого ореха практически.
Для кратковременного проживания отличный вариант! 4.8 из 5 в целом отличный отель, чистый и уютный.

Отель расположен достаточно неплохо с точки зрения: как добраться до аэропорта, до различных точек в городе, так же вокруг полно ресторанов, кафеюшников и прочих забегаловок. Особо отметим близкое расположение фуникулера на Коктобе.
Касательно самой гостиницы - останавливался далеко не первый раз, при возможности выбора селюсь именно тут по причине комфорта в номерах, очень удобной кровати, хорошей сантехники и принадлежностей в ванной комнате (переход на экологичные аксессуары вызывает улыбку и пользоваться ими неудобно в отличие от изделий из "вредной" пластмассы). За водой для чая нужно сбегать к лифтам, прикольно, но не обременительно.
Завтраки стандартные для сетей но очень и очень неплохие + немного национального специалитета.
Конечно, чешутся руки поскидывать звезды за отсутствие возможности расплачиваться картами систмы МИР.

Красивый отель в историческом центре Алматы. Очень удачное расположение - пешком можно дойти до многих достопримечательностей, которые находятсябуквально на расстоянии вытянутой руки. По завтракам - не скажу, что разнообразно, но на твёрдую четвёрку. Вокруг кипит жизнь, особенно ночная. Ценник - прилично выше среднего, поэтому если возможно - экономьте хотя бы на завтраках, рядом куча более вкусных и дешёвых заведений. И да - общая СПА-зона откровенно ни о чём. Только бассейн. Сауны маленькие и отдельно в мужской и женской раздевалках.
