A standard Novotel, an ordinary business hotel. A very European hotel, good location, the usual rooms for a Novotel. Breakfasts without national flavor, there is fish, and a lot of vegetables, and coffee, etc. For business trips, that's the most.

A nice comfortable hotel. Convenient location, clean rooms, polite and courteous staff. There is a fitness room with a treadmill and exercise equipment. The breakfasts are on top. There is a good view of the Kazakhstan hotel from the window.

Great hotel. I liked the location: near the cable car to the mountains with an observation deck on the city, shopping centers, exchangers, cafes and restaurants. There is a good restaurant in the lobby, good breakfasts, there is a spa area.

Pros: clean and bright rooms, good view of the square and the skating rink (it was in winter). There is also freshly squeezed juice at breakfast (a juicer was installed).

I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the restaurant staff for their professionalism in working with the restaurant's visitors. I only meet with their helpfulness, kindness, attention, and quick response to any request. Very tasty and varied cuisine. I am ready to list all the waiters, because in communication from everyone I received attention to any request, starting with the selection of dishes from the menu and ending with the cleaning of dishes from the table.
Today I want to thank Gulshat and Temirlan, the administrator, for adding to my good mood and enjoyment of visiting the restaurant.

A good hotel in the city center next to the ski lift on Kok-You. For early check-in, subject to room availability, they charge almost as much as per day. For late check-out as well. The room cleaning is very mediocre. Water bottles are not provided. There is a cooler in the hallway and glasses in the room. But hardly anyone is responsible for the cleanliness of the cooler. When trying to boil water in a kettle, I was horrified by what was inside the kettle. Dirt, rust, lack of mesh in the spout. After the call at the reception, the kettle was washed.
The room service works well. Food is brought to the room quickly.
A huge plus of the hotel is breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, including meat, fish, soup, porridge, fruits, vegetables, pastries, you can make yourself freshly squeezed juice.
The hotel also has a swimming pool (small) and a spa. I couldn't go there, because I had a terrible headache all day. There is no doctor in the hotel, they can only call an ambulance. There is a blood pressure monitor, but it is in the spa area. The spa is open until 23.00. When we tried to ask for a blood pressure monitor around 12 a.m., we received a response from one manager at the reception that the spa was already closed. And after 15 minutes, another manager got a blood pressure monitor. So in case of something, you need to be more resilient.

We stayed for 2 nights in a standard room. The room is clean, stylish, and the furniture is new. The only thing in the bathroom is a door without a lock and a shower without a door (therefore, splashes fall a little on the floor, but not critically). There was unlimited water, but the carafe needed to be filled in a cooler in the hallway, which didn't bother me at all.
The sound insulation is average - we heard the door close in the next room quite strongly.
I really enjoyed the breakfasts. It is delicious and varied: eggs, cottage cheese, meat and cheese cuts, pastries, herbs, pickles, fruits, porridges, stewed vegetables and meat. Tea, juices, coffee, fresh oranges and apples.

We visited Almaty in February 2024, stayed at this hotel for 5 days.The advantages are the excellent location and delicious breakfasts.Unfortunately, there are more disadvantages, although the concept of the hotel itself and the hotel itself are good!The staff- when you are at the hotel, they almost never greet you, even if you greeted them,(staff training suffers),drinking water in the rooms- there are carafes and you have to draw water from the cooler, which is located in the corridor, but I have a question- does anyone follow how these carafes are washed???If the decanters are in this condition, I'm not sure that the coolers are properly cleaned and processed during! And this is the source of infection! Therefore, many hotel guests bought bottled water. Room cleaning - is there any control on the part of the hotel staff (senior managers), how the room is prepared for the arrival of the guest and how the current cleaning is carried out? I think not!This also applies to bed linen! We went into the room - there was a torn duvet cover, linen is changed every three days - they changed it for us, but there were torn pillowcases!I am very much in favor of ’their concept of a ’green" hotel, but... not to the same extent! In the shower, the shampoo and gel provided by the hotel are attached with special fasteners, and there is no shelf at all, and I can't use these accessories because of allergies, I use my own, but where should I put them? I think they have guests who find it inconvenient too! At breakfast (especially from 8-9.00 in the morning), there are not enough tables, yes- it's rush hour and many people come there for work, but we need to think about this issue.
The hotel manager must work out these issues, conduct staff training, or change the manager!You just need to monitor the quality of the services provided by the hotel.

This hotel definitely does not pull in a room for $ 300 per night. The level of three stars, for space money for its location and room category.
The service is lame so much that the housekeeping does not think to remove the food ordered in the room. She was taken out of the corridor only a day later!!! The sink drain did not work. A flower vase was brought a meter high, plastic, in which flowers are still placed in flower shops. The bouquet had to be put in a water carafe 😒
But the most striking moment of the poor service was that complimentary bottled water was supplied only once during all the days of stay! The rest of the time, it is suggested to use a cooler in the CORRIDOR, let me remind you, for $ 300 per day)

In general, I liked everything, there is Parking, a swimming pool, a small gym. In the pool shower, the faucet is poorly regulated. The room was stuffy, the air conditioner did not work, I rented an improved room. Otherwise, I liked everything.

The hotel is excellent, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The rooms have everything you need, clean and cozy, a large selection of dishes for breakfast, lunches are also excellent) The location is convenient, everything is within walking distance. There was only one drawback, not far from the hotel there is a stage where some musical events were held and the music was very loud. We had a conference in the afternoon and the music was so loud that the windows and the floor were shaking, so keep in mind.And so the hotel and staff are super , thank you so much for the warm hospitality 🌺

I really liked the hotel! Convenient location, near the cable car, metro, historical museum. The staff is polite and attentive. Another trump card of the hotel is breakfast! I often stay in the Novotel hotel chain. And I like everything: the service, the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of the mattress and pillows. We had a rest from September 26-30. There is a polite staff at the reception. According to my privilege, they offered a mini bar for free, because there were no superior rooms. A wonderful hotel, the city center - Dostyk street, near the Abai metro station, buses, very friendly staff, ready to help with any question and satisfy any request (we bought hockey tickets through the reception), delicious and varied breakfast, comfortable rooms, a large swimming pool. A great hotel- a comfortable bed, a couple of pillows to choose from, perfect towels, very pleasant shampoo-conditioner-hand soap in the bathtub, an excellent breakfast with fruits and desserts, a small pool with a sauna. The location is the most central, there are exchangers at one intersection, shops and restaurants nearby. The price is high, but the service fully justifies it. There is a Kok-tobe lift nearby, the hotel gives vouchers for which there is a 30% discount on it, I advise everyone to climb!

The main attraction of the city of Koktobe is within walking distance, and at the reception they give a voucher for visiting Koktobe. I was at this hotel with my fiance and dad, everyone was satisfied! I would like to note the polite staff who quickly responds to all requests, as well as the opportunity to call the master if something does not work in the room (in our case, it was a night light). The hotel is happy to meet its guests halfway, and creates all conditions for them to be satisfied. The only thing was that we didn't have time for breakfast, so we had to give them up. But I will definitely come back in the future to evaluate everything. Thank you to Novotel for the warm memories of yourself!
