The room is cozy, located next to the embankment, overlooking the Marmara Sea. But if you get somewhere , there is no metro or tram nearby , you have to take the bus along a sidewalk that is not very convenient for pedestrians . The breakfasts are good, the coffee is incredibly delicious! When serving, everyone is polite , but the perception of requests is strange - you call the reception more than once to convey what was missing or missing . The shower gel ran out, they called three times, no one came, the phone in the room broke, we went down to the reception 3 times, stood and waited for the master to come to us. I will add my review - we extended the check-out of the room for 2 hours for free , despite all the misunderstandings at the beginning of the rest , we were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Daily cleaning, towels were changed every day , bathrobes , slippers and an iron were all delivered to the room upon request . If you want to walk along the embankment every day, away from the hustle and bustle of the center, then this is an excellent choice.

The rooms are clean. I like the price. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. The staff is friendly. Views of the Enchantment Strait. 10 out of 10. I love and recommend Zeytinburna novotel to everyone. There are very good restaurants nearby, as well as Fish restaurants.

The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of central Istanbul, it doesn't take long to get there, about 15 minutes by taxi (about 200-300 liras from Zeytinburnu, the reception, by the way, helps to call an adequate taxi with a meter. But you will have to bargain well from the tourist center, the price is 2-3 times higher). The Marmaray line is about a 15-minute walk away and they also say it gets you to the center quickly (we haven't tried it). 500 meters away is the Fishekhane party quarter: restaurants, cafes - that's all. The reception staff is helpful and friendly. If you leave a few lira in the room for the maids, the quality of cleaning is noticeably improved)) What didn't you like: 1) they are not eager to give receipts, checks when paying for something. That is, they will give, but you need to ask. The bill for accommodation, that's exactly the bill, came by e-mail the day after departure. although everything was paid for immediately upon arrival, some kind of official printout of the guest's balance was given, and yes - upon request, 2) an insane mixer in the shower - I had to strain my brains and recall all the experience of previous communication with faucets)) 3) room with a view - although we ordered three rooms with a view of the sea (Marble), it was said that a side view of the sea also counts. They gave me one side shot. If this is super important for you, please check when booking. The lively Kennedy Street (highway) runs between the hotel and the attractive embankment, there was no noise from it in the rooms, but it was impossible to cross it just like that. It is necessary to drag at least half a kilometer to the bridge crossing. Again, if you are a runner, this is normal. If an old man with a wand, then... not really.

The staff is very lax. The bar is supposed to open at 8 a.m. There is no staff. The breakfast mugs are dirty and do not change. The staff is indifferent and does not know how to talk about staying at the hotel. They just don't care about you) Pay attention to where you are being accommodated. The numbers are scrolled. And even the non-smoking rooms periodically smell of cigarettes. The only advantage is the location and the view of the boats.

It's a good hotel, but it's a little far from the city center. We got there in the morning by taxi, and returned by metro. The cleaning, the attitude towards the guests is excellent. Breakfast is a buffet, the choice of breakfast dishes is quite sufficient: vegetables, herbs, cheeses, boiled egg, omelette, or fried eggs, lots of pastries. There is porridge, or mashed soup, yogurt, various drinks, canned and fresh fruits, there are jams and chocolate paste for pancakes. There are not enough meat products - there are cuts and sausages. The room has everything as stated. They asked for a bathrobe - they brought it, they did not take additional payment for it. There is room service, we also used it - everything is prompt. I was satisfied with the hotel!

There is an exit to the Marmara Sea across the street, and not just an exit, but a long park with benches, treadmills, exercise equipment, a basketball and tennis court. Lots of trees. Clear. There is a public transport stop near the hotel, from which you can reach the historical center in 20 minutes.

To reach the sea and take a walk, you need to walk about 800 m to the bridge and cross the highway, then you will only find yourself on the promenade. The hotel itself is unremarkable, the rooms are not very large in size, the bathroom is tiny, the air conditioning worked poorly, the Internet is normal. In the restaurant on the ground floor, you can have dinner - both in buffet mode and on order. The food is good and expensive. There is a pool outside, it seems, unheated, no one swam with us, because it was not hot. You can rent a hotel just to spend the night in Istanbul between flights.

But every year it gets worse and worse. I like the location, it's very convenient for me! In the European part, right on the shore of the Marmara Sea. The Grand Bazaar and Taksim Square are 20 minutes away by taxi. Nearby Fisheckhane is a good place with restaurants, a kind of promenade. As well as the metro within walking distance, Marmaray, with which you can get to Asia, faster than by taxi and 20 times cheaper. About the Hotel: I like the pool, location, restaurant (interior). I don't like the restaurant staff, everything is very long. The menu is sparse. Rooms: it's time to make repairs. The view is certainly gorgeous, if you're lucky. There are no complaints about hauskipping, especially if you leave it for "tea". Otherwise, it seems tolerable, but 4 is a stretch.
