A very bad sediment remained after staying at this hotel, although in other countries of this hotel chain, there were no problems at all.
1. The front door is broken and not working, it was necessary to push and put a lot of effort to get in and out of the hotel, especially with suitcases, the side doors are ordinary, they were closed every other time. Garbage is constantly dirty at the entrance and a lot of speculators "with an unfriendly appearance" sell cigarettes, etc. at the very entrance they stand around the clock under a canopy at the very entrance to the hotel.
2. They settled us on the 4th floor. We had two rooms next to each other, and the reception saw that we had small children. We were settled under the fitness room, which was on the 5th floor right under our rooms. Already at 6 a.m., people were running on treadmills and wouldn't let us sleep. I could hear it very well.
3. The room. According to the number, everything is not bad, only there was no toilet brush in the toilet. And there were four of us, and we were given only 0.5 water for all. Our two rooms had all the same situations.
4. The cleaning was not bad, but it was not clear why the cleaners defiantly displayed our bottles near the entrance doors of our rooms and did not clean them. A question for the hotel.
5. Food. This is the horror of horror. This is the first time in so many years. During the five days of our stay, there were the same situations: a) the service staff (African Americans) defiantly did not want to clean the tables near which we were standing, so that they would be removed from past visitors, and if they cleaned, then all the crumbs were swept away with a rag on the chairs. Once they even asked for a rag to clean themselves. b) There were constantly not enough dishes, namely plates and glasses, I had to constantly ask for clean ones to be brought. c) The pancake baking machine did not work all the time due to the lack of dough, they brought it 3 times, 2 times they said it was over, although there were few people during our entire stay. d) There were also constant interruptions with food, no matter at what time, 8 or 9 in the morning, there was not enough bacon, cheeses, omelets, sausages. The staff defiantly showed that they were not satisfied with their work or that we were Russian-speaking (we are from Belarus). And I was constantly waiting for them to ask, and in the meantime, they did it for a deliberately long time and ignoring all of us. Except for one person, a man of Slavic appearance, he never refused and constantly did everything that we asked him to do. But he alone could not replace all of them.
P.S. We kindly ask you to pay attention to my review to the management of the hotel and the owners of this NOVOTEL chain. We are not spoiled by the service, we did not quarrel with anyone, we did not sort things out, we did not conflict. Our company got the impression either that the staff does not like their job, or that we were treated so badly because we were Slavs and spoke Russian.
