This is not an observation deck. This is the epic Baiterek monument, a symbol of Astana and its status as the capital. Well, yes, there is an observation deck there too, from which the entire walking route is visible, which is mandatory for tourists - from Khan Shatyr shopping mall to the Accord Presidential Palace. Definitely a must to visit and admire!

The view of the presidential residence, as well as in the opposite direction, is really good, but the Presidential Park itself is an extremely sad sight: unkempt, dried up, partially overgrown, without water, wires sticking out of the ground, etc. Yes, there was a car that watered the trees, but it's like "sticking a plaster" when you need a "comprehensive treatment." The park clearly lacks a master's hand and proper care.
