Medeo is certainly something amazing! My children and I experienced such emotions, it was just great. We had a wonderful time! We have climbed all 842 steps, it is very wonderful that there is a place to rest and take a breather. On the observation deck itself, at the very top, it's very clean, the air is just beyond words... It's great that the so-called binoculars were installed, it was very interesting for the children to watch. I am thrilled for the time I spent with my family.

We climbed the stone steps to the observation deck with the whole family and children, and successfully overcame the climb, periodically resting on specially designated areas, where you can also take beautiful landscape photos. The view from the observation deck offers magnificent views of the nearby mountains and the Medeu Stadium!

Only positive impressions. I rarely come, but I always leave happy memories of this place. There is a small shop, the price is the same as in the shops in the city. Plenty of space to relax, nice benches, clean air. We need to develop and take care of such places, plant more flowers in the summer, as well as keep the territory clean, there are a lot of people, and clean the trash cans more often.

Overall, it's a good viewing platform. But the stairs are so long and steep that you expect to see cooler landscapes. But now I'm looking at the photo and I realize that it just seemed that way because I was tired. For those who do not like steep stairs, there is a gentle road, but sometimes cars drive along it and it is much longer. I also thought that there would be a second level at the top of the cable car, but it turns out that there is not. So if you are specifically interested in the ski area, then you should not go up to the observation deck, just sit on the cable car below.

The most popular place in Almaty. Climbing up on an open or closed lift. The last landing (3) offers an epic view of Mount Zimbulak, also known as Shimbulak, if there is no fog. Bring warm clothes and a thermos if you plan to be there. Below are typical views of the Almaty mountains with fir trees and meadows. The same way can be done on foot who is ready. Watch the opening hours so as not to arrive late and then there is no lift up. A place for photos and picnics in good weather.
