Today, my daughter and I walked around Grodno and looked for a place to eat. We stopped at the Odessa Mama cafe. And you didn't lose it! It is a very atmospheric and pleasant place. Good unobtrusive music. (By the way, we initially went to another place, but while we were studying the menu, we realized that we wouldn't be able to sit here for a long time, the music was banging on my head (it was banging!) so we decided to leave as soon as possible.) Everything was comfortable here! The music, the atmosphere, the waiters are very welcoming. The waiter guy came up to us and introduced himself with a pleasant smile, said that his name was Maxim, and he would serve our table. He immediately endeared himself to himself! Thank you, Maxim! Everything was at the highest level! No sooner had they sat down, the child was immediately brought perfectly sharpened pencils and a children's coloring menu. While waiting for the order, the child had something to do! I am also delighted with the menu! Borscht with pampushki is just a fairy tale! My daughter immediately said: "Mom, it's so delicious here, somehow homemade ..." I completely agree! Yes, a rich thick borscht with meat, lots of fresh sour cream, served separately and with such lush pompoms is something! The French fries are delicious, the nuggets are crispy in perfect breading! I won't list everything. Everything is delicious, the portions are large, the price is adequate! A nice bonus was a free milkshake for the baby. Also, by the way, delicious! The service is catastrophically terrible... 5 tables were occupied and we had 20 minutes waiting for the order to be accepted, one waiter for the entire restaurant, the rest of the boys are not clear why they wander there and say that they are interns and cannot take orders, they cannot bring cutlery... In general, they can't do anything. Why they are there is not clear.
Waiting for the ready meals took 1 hour (60 minutes). In total, after 1.5 hours of waiting, we started having lunch. The dishes were served not by order, but randomly. The same dishes could be served to different guests with a difference of 20 minutes. The second one was brought out for you, then the soup was brought and then the salad.
There are various promotions listed on the restaurant's website, but until you point them out to the waiter and the administrator yourself, no one will offer them to you.
The chef can be given five stars separately, but if you evaluate the entire restaurant, then only three.
No offense cook, you were on top. I haven't tasted such delicious dishes for a long time.

We liked the dishes, they were delicious and satisfying. Good and attentive service, offered their help. Which is nice, there were nice bonuses for the baby) And besides, there is a children's corner with toys. The waiting time is standard, but it was a weekday evening, so we managed quickly. It was pleasant to spend time there, especially in the summer, it is very atmospheric, because there is a summer playground where live music often plays. I recommend it!

We came to Grodno for the May weekend from 11 to 13 May. On May 12, we decided to have dinner in a beautiful place, the choice fell on Odessa-Mama, since the institution seemed attractive in terms of interior and atmosphere since the last trip, as well as a good selection on the menu. At about 15-16 o'clock, I called to book a table for 20:00. We came, we were told that waiting for hot from 2 hours (it's just unthinkable!) Of course, we did not want to wait so long, we offered that we would make an order, go for a walk and return in an hour, since according to the waitress the salads would be ready in 40 minutes, and the hotter 2 hours, but the option to cook the salad also in 2 hours for some reason is not provided. I immediately asked why they didn't immediately offer to pre-order when they called, I was only told that they didn't know there would be so many people. The waiter told us that we need to make an advance payment of 50% of the bill, no question, she said to carry the bill, we will make it. Then the waitress brought the bill and it turned out that they already needed 100% prepayment. This is just some kind of game, the institution is not able to serve dishes in an adequate time, it is not yet clear what they will be with such an organization, and then they also require payment in advance. The administrator came out, tried to object, but I said that nothing had been brought to us yet, but they already require 100% prepayment, then he said that OK, we can deposit 50%, then return. I told the receptionist that we would come in an hour, as well as the waitress, even if the hot stuff was not ready yet, there would be salads and some snacks, and we would wait for the hot stuff, at least they would already start cooking. But he insisted that it was better to come in 2 hours, they would not have time in an hour. Well, we walked for 1 hour and 50 minutes, drank coffee in another place, then came, and it turned out that the waitress took the initiative, warned the kitchen that we would be there in an hour and our food has been on the table for an hour (!). Some dish was warmed, but the largest - A large sea plate was no longer there and heating it would not have saved it, because it includes fish of the type in batter or breaded, which is all soaked, heating would only make it worse. As a result, we went somewhere hungry for 2 hours, missed live music, had dinner super late, at 10 pm (with a child, by the way) and got cold and not fresh food. Attention question: if there was still an option to cook everything in an hour, why do you declare a wait at 2 o'clock and force the guests to walk somewhere, we would calmly wait an hour in the restaurant, since 1 hour is still an acceptable waiting time? Complete chaos, incompetence of employees, disorganization. Of course, the guys were all nice, they tried to find a way out of the situation, but it was a complete fiasco. To be honest, after this experience, I no longer have the desire to go to any of the Odessa Mama restaurants, nor to Grodno, if we come again, nor to Minsk.

I met my Mother from Odessa last year in Brest. This year we were in Grodno and wandered into this place in the evening. And they got a real buzz from the entourage of the Odessa courtyard, with a Grodno accent, from live music and how it was all served.

But no one was in a hurry to help him... The order included liqueurs, juice, beer, 5 servings of hot for each of them 2 servings of pancakes.
So here's about the sequence, service and organization of serving dishes in the kitchen. Yes, the liqueurs were brought almost immediately, but... juice and beer after more than half an hour (with a reminder, but useless). The hot serving surprised me even more. We waited a long time, before serving hot to one of us, we managed to smoke twice, sipping liqueurs, without drinking juice, since they also carried it, as well as hot; they brought one portion of pancakes to one of us, one of us complexes, one does not eat, waits until the rest are brought, the dish gets cold, we go out The 3rd smoke break, since they are hungry, they do not want to look at their friend's plate... After 10 minutes, the soup is brought to the second. Well, at least the youngest one will eat. The others are waiting again. The first one couldn't stand it, started eating pancakes. After another 10 minutes, hot food was brought to the 3rd guest... And a few more days later, they brought the 2nd portion of pancakes to the 4th guest! It's amazing why 2 identical dishes were served with such a difference for the same order?!
Kitchen, a question for you?! One ate, and the other just started. I was less fortunate. My hot dish arrived an hour and a half after the order. The last one. When all my comrades finished their meal))) And they were waiting for me. Amazing !!!

Заведение просто замечательное, отличное местоположение, которое напоминает дворики Одессы.
Еда супер, особенно отмечу корюшку, смалец (я не люблю сало, но смалец теперь мое любимое блюдо!), обыкновенные соленья тут тоже офигенные. Не понравились намазки, но это дело вкуса и никак не портит впечатления от заведения.
Домашнее вино прекрасно, что белое, что красное.
Особенное впечатление еще и от официанта Даниила, который в тот день был переведен из хинкальни в Одессу маму. Это реально один из лучших официантов, которые мне попадались.
Приятно было узнать, что в Минске тоже открывают этот ресторан практически возле дома, так что с удовольствием буду посещать еще и не раз, и друзей позову :)

And it's solely the management and the chefs who are to blame here. The waiters do what they are told. The cod with vegetables was spoiled by the cook in such a way that I would advise this cook to change his profession... And how can you decorate dishes with already withered greens?.. The cauliflower and broccoli were overcooked. The eggplant rolls were dry. One star for the interior and the atmosphere on the street, well, the homemade wine is not bad.

We decided to celebrate our birthday modestly and we were left with a VERY pleasant impression) Starting with the atmosphere and taste of the dishes, ending with the service. The room was half full, but everything was served according to the time indicated by the waiter. The dishes are delicious, the portions are large, but we slightly overestimated our capabilities, we had to take them with us. I also liked the interior very much, I took a lot of beautiful photos. They congratulated me very beautifully and sincerely. The waiter Daria is definitely a professional in her field. A bonus!

Колоритное заведение, с аутентичной подачей блюд, собственно как и само меню. Расположение удобное- центр, рядом огромная парковка. Наличие уютного закрытого дворика, со всех сторон окружённого другими заведениями. Блюда по вкусу были средние. Рулетики из баклажанов было пресные. Евроцсктц салат хорошо, жареные пельмени так себе. Барабулька - хорошо, соус к ней отлично. Отдельное внимание - сету из 7 настоек. Лимонная - топ). После сета все блюда стали вкуснее, а девушки вокруг симпатичнее.). В целом стоит зайти. Музыкальный репертуар хотелось бы более колоритный.
