The restaurant is located in a historic place - in a hollow between the hill on which the church of Old Uppsala is being built and Tinga hill, next to the royal burial mounds. The wooden building with a tiled roof, built in 1899, contains a cafe (open in the morning), a banquet hall for 200 people (open to order - holidays, weddings, commemorations, baptisms). Viking-style food is advertised (mushroom soup with rye bread, roast meat, mead according to an old recipe). In summer, outdoor tables, ice cream. The place is not too lively, actually outside the city limits.
