I recently visited the “Forest Fairy Tale" in Oi-Karagai and was very pleased with my stay. The place really lives up to its name – the nature here is amazing: fresh mountain air, coniferous forest and beautiful scenery around. Perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and rebooting. The territory is well maintained, clean, there are cozy houses and hotel rooms. I liked that there are options for both family vacations and companies. A separate plus is the variety of activities: hiking, horse riding, playground, skiing and tubing in winter. On the downside, it can be crowded on weekends, and food prices are above average. But in general, the service is good, the staff is responsive. I would recommend the “Forest Fairy Tale” for those who want to spend time in nature with comfort. A great place for both a short weekend trip and a longer vacation.

We spent an unforgettable weekend at this winter recreation center, and were absolutely delighted! The territory is well maintained, surrounded by incredible winter nature — clean air, forest, silence and snowy landscapes like from a fairy tale. We lived in a warm and cozy house, the interior is clean, there is everything you need — heating, hot water, comfortable beds, a kitchen with dishes. I would like to mention the fireplace separately — in the evenings we sat by the fire with tea and a blanket, the atmosphere is simply magical. There are excellent winter activities on site: sledding, skiing, cheesecakes, and equipment rental. There was even a sauna — after walking in the snow, it's just a salvation! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A great place for families with children, as well as for groups of friends. The staff is polite, always ready to help and answer any questions.

A great place to relax in the countryside! We come here several times a year, and each time we are pleased that the resort is developing: new facilities are appearing, a cable car has recently been opened, and the choice of activities, cafes and restaurants is expanding. However, I would like to draw your attention to a few points: 1. Playground and room. Why are they paid for by staying guests? At the same time, the playground is quite old and not too safe for small children, and there are no activities in the children's room on weekends. 2. Children's menu. For a resort with a family concept, it is surprising that not all restaurants have a children's menu. It would be very convenient for parents. 3. Notification at the checkout. Often, the cashier's staff is not aware of the combined offers. For example, we have repeatedly bought tickets to the children's room and the rope park separately, and later learned that the first ticket already includes a visit to the rope park. Otherwise, thanks for the atmosphere, cleanliness and constant development of the resort. We really hope that these comments will help make the stay even more comfortable for the guests and then I will give this place 5 stars.

An amazing place to take a break from the bustling city and smog. There is a cool option of living in trees - probably the dream of any child. The average bill in restaurants for two is about 15-20 thousand, if you take a few different dishes and drinks. There is a lot of entertainment: horseback riding, rope parks, especially zip lines at different heights (scary at first, but the experience is worth it:)

A great place with a well-developed entertainment and tourist infrastructure for adults and children. I liked the rope park with trails of any difficulty level. A good opportunity to test yourself at altitude on a rope. There is an equestrian park and horseback riding, archery, hiking and climbing routes, an outdoor cable car with beautiful landscapes. I especially liked the trolley track: an unforgettable experience, a sea of adrenaline when descending a cable from one mountain to another. It didn't bother me that the wind was spinning me in flight, and I also looked around the neighborhood. Rather the opposite!It was very cool! The wish is to arrange in-flight video shooting at the request of the client, as they do in China. And then all the impressions will be captured on video. It was very interesting and exciting!

You should visit this place at least once in your life, for sure. There are a lot of impressions. I've been here more than once, and every time I discover something new, something interesting. At first we were at the rope park, I really liked it. I advise you to go to the most difficult stress, because the rest are completed in 10 minutes. Then we went to the shooting range, everything is also great. I shot 19 out of 21 shots and won a ticket to the cable car, which is really cool. I advise everyone to take the cable car up to 1820m. The view is gorgeous! The only negative is the obsessive photographers, but for some it's okay. We also walked along the path to the mountains. It is better not to go there if you are not prepared (you need a hat, water, good shoes..) you can also have a picnic on the grass with a beautiful view. In general, here you can have a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city with the whole family. I advise everyone!

The place is very cool for relaxing, it's quiet there, the forest is very beautiful and quiet. This is the best thing for winter, the view is beautiful if you take tree houses, the staff is good, but sometimes they forget about requests. The food is good, especially in the Georgian restaurant. They do everything for children, you can ride on the slope, and there are instructors. You can take skis. My family and I liked it!

A charming quiet place, especially in the evening, when the guests leave, and there is silence, pines, the sound of the river, I recommend the "village in the trees", this is a more enclosed area, long stairs, squirrels scurry along the railings. Several restaurants, expensive, but delicious. Polite staff, hammam, massage therapist. There's not much to do in the off-season, but you can take a walk in the hills, just take a break from the hustle and bustle.

We had a great time! Excellent rope park — there are routes of different levels, everything is safe and interesting. Archery is also fun, especially for those who are trying for the first time. The funiculars are in good condition, they are lifted quickly and conveniently. Separately, it is worth noting the zipline — one of the longest that we have ever met! They give you full equipment, explain everything clearly, and you literally fly over the trees — a sea of adrenaline and impressions! I really enjoyed spending my leisure time in the "Forest Fairy Tale" — the place lives up to its name. Nature, fresh air, activity — everything is great. We will definitely come again!

We stayed at the Ak-Tas hotel. The room is in a sad state, it smells bad, as if the room is smoky, there was no screen on the window, that is, you can't open the window at night, and it's stuffy. The towels are torn, the door handles are broken, the carpet is dirty and stained, there is no service, you call the reception, they promise to do something, then nothing happens. It's made of good stuff, the mattresses are comfortable, and the nature is beautiful. But you can come and see nature without stopping in Oi-Karagai. The prices for water and food are astronomical. The lobby of the hotel is pretty, but note that there are no photos of the rooms themselves on the website. There is no fire safety system, the fire alarms are covered with plastic, that is, they do not work.

The place to relax is just great. I stayed in cottages, treehouses, and a hotel. Good breakfasts, the territory is large and well maintained. The ski resort is also good, but the prices are certainly expensive. The food in the restaurants is delicious, but the price tag is very high, the mountains are visible. Skiing for 3 people even last season was under 80k tenge per day.

Positive: - amazing nature; - a wide range of leisure activities; - always friendly staff. Minuses: - for some types of leisure activities, inflated prices, even for the resort area; - there are a lot of people, a quiet and peaceful holiday is not about Oi-qaragai. The majority of people are not those who live here, but those who come for a day to walk in nature.; - it seems that there are 3 restaurants here, and 1 more stands at an altitude of 1820m (nearby, by cable car) - but there is little variety - many dishes are repeated, there is no wide choice; - we had breakfast at the Ak-Auyl restaurant, except for the omelet, everything else does not even reach 4 on a 5-point scale. Very weak.

I love this beautiful vacation spot at any time of the year.It's nice that young people, sports people and older people can relax with babies in strollers.Silence, cleanliness, beautiful cottages and unique nature all contribute to a wonderful holiday.The only thing upsetting is getting on the bus to get back to the city.There are so many passengers, and buses should preferably run more often.

The base is beautiful. We were at the end of October, it snowed and we really found ourselves in a fairy tale. The nature is magnificent, there are restaurants on site where the service is also very good. I was upset by one fact for which I wanted to withdraw a point, but changed my mind - this is a children's center, to go there you have to pay 8 thousand per person. I thought that there would be some equipped playrooms where you can leave your child for a day and take a quiet walk, but no, there is NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't understand why they take money, it's a shame to show people for free, they also don't shake off the snow, they had to do it with their own hands before putting the child on a swing or somewhere else. I also went to the sauna, it was the best bath in my life.

We have been coming to this recreation area for many years now. The location is excellent, the nature is fascinating, we also lived in a cottage, in tree houses, this time in a yurt. It's very atmospheric, but in winter it takes time for the air conditioner and heaters to heat it up, which is probably the only small disadvantage. There is everything on site, restaurants, cafes, activities for children, there is a free shuttle service between the sites on the base, very convenient.

We took improved rooms, everything is fine, only they heat up very much and we had to open the window. The best time to travel here is on weekdays (this is the most important conclusion for me for all seasons))). It's too crowded on weekends. There is a buzz at any time of the year. In winter, it's clear - skiing, snow, sledding, etc. In summer, it is much fresher and more pleasant here than in a stuffy hot city. We rode horses. Children usually get carried away on suspended obstacles, I used to shoot arrows - it's a thrill) there are good trails and routes for hiking enthusiasts. Well, it's unrealistically beautiful in autumn! And you can do all the same things as in the summer)) I haven't been in the spring - I need to catch up. I've heard that there's plenty of room for mountain bikes, but that's not my sport. The food is normal. The restaurants are clean and the prices are reasonable, especially considering how far they are located from competitors)) Lots of fun for courage of different levels)) you can fly over the gorge on the highway, but it's creepy for me to even look at this attraction) I can't tell you everything, but definitely whether to go there.

Expensive tasteless and not salty food in the restaurant opposite the cottages. There is not a single playground, except ugusha, where 10,000 for three swings. A 7-month-old baby was also asked for payment, as he enters the territory in his wheelchair. A total of 20,000 for a child of 2 years and a baby of 7 months. In fact, there is nothing to do with children here, although the recreation area positions itself as a family vacation. There are no gazebos, no benches, nothing at all... There is everything for extreme people.I personally liked the individual sauna with an excellent bath attendant, taught me many new techniques of vaping. There are a lot of ladybugs, but they associate happiness with me and do not bother me in any way. The rooms are quite large and cozy, we stayed in a house near the restaurant. The beauty is incredible nearby. We were around September, the weather was comfortable, cleanliness and great air all around. We will definitely come again.

We rented two rooms — one tree house for us and a yurt for our parents. The tree house was not as cozy as expected. The bed was made up of two and a half double beds, which caused a hole to form in the middle, and the whole bed was an uncomfortable lump, which did not allow normal sleep. We were with my daughter (1 year and 9 months old), and this disgusting sleeping place caused a lot of inconvenience. Nevertheless, the house itself is quite cozy and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi works intermittently and sometimes disappears completely. There is a kettle and cups in the house, which turned out to be very convenient. The climb to the lodge is quite steep, which may be a problem for some. The yurt, which was rented by the parents, was very cozy, without any complaints - the parents were satisfied. We liked the breakfast at the hotel, but the choice of coffee is limited only to Americano, and it was completely tasteless. All additional activities require a separate payment and close fairly early.
