We had a rest from October 5 to October 16, 2025, the hotel is gorgeous, the food is delicious at home,the lights were turned off once for 9 hours, but even then we were fed a warm breakfast, the only thing I was upset about was the toilet was running in the toilet and our foot towels were damp all the time and the cleaner kept telling us that we gave her towels we rent dirty and damp towels for our feet,then even my husband and I were afraid to get up on these towels, they were new, they just hung clean on the batteries until the end of the rest, I really liked the manager, a very kind young man,solves all issues quickly,I advise this hotel, the sea is not far away in a 10-minute walk,the pool is warm, in I will come here again next year.

We were vacationing with our close-knit family and relatives. There are only 10 people. 4 children, 4 adults and two pensioners)). Everyone was satisfied. The hotel turned out to be very cozy and comfortable (especially the eco house) Our room had two air conditioners (which surprised me a lot). There are no noisy or drunken companies (maybe just lucky) the food is not very diverse, but quite tasty. There are few sweets (as a rule, buns with poppy seeds or muffins with raisins, ) Drinks at the bar for money (on the neighboring Vinzavod street). That's where everyone goes)). The cleaning is good (every day) the rooms are not old. 10 minutes walk to the sea. It was not early to go to the beach, and therefore it was with great difficulty that we found sun beds. I'm not talking about free umbrellas at all. There are very few of them.. The staff is generally friendly and polite (apart from the angry barmaid)). I didn't like the attitude of the Pegasus representative. A girl named Evgenia. Who was openly rude , and rudely forwarded all the questions (in general, she rejected them). Apparently she was offended by our absence from the guided tour meeting. And I tried to answer every question (there were three of them) with this. Another of the disadvantages. The three of us had a vacation in September 2025, booked in advance through a travel agency. We took a family room with meals. I really liked everything, the room has a modern renovation, cleaning at any time on request, linen change every three days, courteous staff. The food was varied and delicious, there were new dishes every day, the canteen staff was young, hardworking and patient. It takes 10-15 minutes on foot to the sea, the beach is sandy, there are small pebbles closer to the water, the sea is clear, the waves are moderate, there are few people. The hotel has a large clean swimming pool with sun loungers for sunbathing or relaxing, it is open from 8:00 to 20:00, there is no heating. The territory is well maintained, cleaned every day, fenced with a metal mesh fence, there are running tracks outside for those who like to run in the morning. The village where the hotel is located is small, there are only three shops, there are no entertainment facilities, you can arrange with local taxi drivers for a transfer to the nearest cities (Gagra, Pitsunda), there is also a bus (stop at the fountain). There are many tour booking points around the hotel and on the way to the sea, as well as modest shopping malls with all kinds of goods (wine, cocktails, fruits). For lovers of a quiet family vacation, I recommend it!

A relaxing vacation with nuances. The Olympus Hotel (Abkhazia) has left a very pleasant impression overall, and for those who are looking for a calm and measured vacation, this is a great option. The food was delicious and, importantly, satisfying. The rooms were cleaned daily, it was always clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A separate bonus is the availability of beach towels. You don't need to bring them with you or rent them — it's very convenient! There is no animation in the hotel, which has become a plus for us personally — a quiet and peaceful atmosphere prevails. Of the cons and nuances: hygiene products (soap, shampoo) are given out only on the day of check-in as a welcome bonus, they will not be enough for the whole vacation, so it's better to take them with you. We also came across an unusual policy of the hotel in terms of food. On the day of check-in, despite the flight delay and arrival after lunch, we were provided with only dinner. And on the day of departure, lunch is no longer allowed after 12:00, even if the transfer is late in the evening. This created some inconveniences. The respected Pegasus tour operator should draw the attention of its tourists to this. We were lucky enough to get to the big Abkhazian holiday on September 30th. The hotel treated the guests to champagne and ice cream for lunch — it was wonderful! However, in the evening, when the staff retired for their celebration, we, the guests, felt a bit like strangers. It was expected that the Abkhaz hospitality would manifest itself in the organization of a common holiday for vacationers. It was not necessary to set the tables, it was enough to organize a party, dancing. We love Victory Day very much, we could also be happy for the Abkhazian people and congratulate them. I remember that when we were vacationing at Golden Sands in 2023, and there were 116 of us. We have come up with a Hot New Year and Neptune Day as entertainment. It was so interesting for everyone, both the guests and the hotel staff. We were joined by local dances and alaverdes from Russians. It was very interesting and fun. Separately about the excursions: The prices for excursions at Pegasus seemed very high to us. We used the services of a third—party manager, Natalie from THAT "Milena" (her tent is located near the hotel, near an abandoned club, like going to the fountain). She organized several excursions for us flawlessly: clearly, interestingly and without complaints. We are very grateful to her for a great time! Of course, we understand that this is not an insured event. Bottom line: I recommend the hotel for a relaxing stay. But be prepared for some organizational nuances and think about the issue of excursions in advance.

I stayed at this hotel in late September and early October. It's been almost a month, I thought the impressions would smooth out, but no. I didn't like it. Firstly, we were unlucky with the weather, the sea cooled down early, and so did the air, with an average of +17. I went for the sake of the sea. The hotel is generally good, the room is clean, cleaning every day. But there is no territory - a stadium with broken running tracks. It takes about twenty minutes to walk to the sea along broken paths with cow cakes. I think it's good to go to the sea during the season, but the hotel doesn't have its own sun beds and umbrellas, nor does it have a toilet. On the food bill, yes, full board, but the food was monotonous and the cheapest, for dinner they ate what they hadn't eaten at lunch, and in the evening there was no entertainment. The younger people are having fun with alcohol, there's just enough of it, and there's a winery nearby. That's my opinion.

The hotel made a double impression. I don't understand flattering reviews. We had a vacation in September 2025. At first glance, everything is not bad. The territory is well maintained, plus or minus, the pool is clean, umbrellas, sun beds. Slippers, tea and shampoo only upon check-in.... They write that the rooms are renovated, but... The toilet smells of sewage, there is no glass for toothbrushes. The walls are stained with dirty stains. Cleaning up the dump. If you don't tell me to change the bedding, then they won't change, although they said at check-in that every 3 days. I washed the sink and toilet myself, they don't wipe the dust. The shower curtain is dirty. You go out the gate, especially after the rain, potholes, mud. It is not pleasant to walk to the sea, there is garbage and dirt everywhere. I really love Abkhazia, but after such a reception....

We had a family vacation in June 2025 on a tourist trip. We were very pleased with the hotel, its location, delicious and satisfying food, staff, and well-groomed territory. Since we are not very picky people, we are just HAPPY from seeing the sea, from beautiful Abkhazia. I really liked the on-site swimming pool, clean, gentrified. There are two elevators in the building. There is a fire alarm in the room. It's a little weak on Wi-Fi, but maybe it's for the best, because we came to nature, not to hang out on the Internet... High Internet speed only at the reception. There are no discos here, this is a vacation for quiet companies. Cheaper alcohol can be purchased at a nearby winery... There's a huge selection of skates, chacha, vodoffki, etc.))) The sea is 800 meters away, the sea is beautiful, the pier is not far, the sand is near the sea, there are pebbles, there is no garbage on the beach. Very cute dogs, kind and affectionate 👍 Guided tours of Abkhazia are amazing nature, stunning views, wonderful guides and Schumacher drivers))... The best vacation spot! I love it! Full board meals were even served trout and sea bass for dinners. The breakfasts are wonderful! The coffee is healthy! The sea is 200 meters away, sun beds are free if from the hotel. The room is clean, daily cleaning, Wi-Fi was poorly caught, they moved without any problems above, the view is gorgeous! Excursions to buy two points nearby. Fruits and sweets in the store nearby also) I want to add another review, I visited this hotel again in 2025! Everything is on top! Good luck, we are waiting for the pool, they have already started making it. We returned from Abkhazia yesterday, spent a wonderful week at this hotel, and we didn't regret staying here at all. The food and service were excellent, we lived in a wooden cottage - it was very spacious, it smelled like smoke, we spent evenings on the veranda with a bottle of wine) the road to the beach (cows, horses and their necessities) was a bit shocking, but then we got used to it. It is important that almost the entire path is along a shady alley. The beach is clean, sun beds and umbrellas are free, but in peak season you need to come early, as the beach is designed for two hotels and the hotel guests on the first line occupy sun beds almost from 6 a.m. The sea is incomparably clean, but with waves, there was no complete calm in 7 days. I recommend the hotel for a quiet family vacation, who needs parties, you are not there.

About the hotel - upon arrival, the friendly administrator Kristina met us, quickly arranged for us, told us where and how, here, at the reception desk, they paid the tourist tax in the amount of 200 rubles per person. We got a room on the second floor. The room is clean, bright, renovated, new furniture, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, hairdryer. Snow-white: bed linen, towels for face, feet, bath towels, also blue for the beach, two shampoos, two miniature soaps and two shower gels, tea - all this was in the room. Yes, it is important- there is a power outage in the village, so this is not a problem for the hotel, there is a generator, there is always light, cold and hot water is always available, drinking water in the cooler on our second floor has always been. An iron with ironing board is also available on the floor. The sea is about 12 minutes away at a calm pace. It's all good. If you need parties, then you will go to Gagra or Pitsunda (a bus runs from the fountain according to the schedule, the price of the trip is 25 rubles.)) The village of Citrusovy is very small, quiet, pensioners and grandchildren mostly rested here with us, and in the evenings there was nowhere to walk except to a nearby grocery store). There is a cafe nearby, a winery for the purchase of goodies). We did not study the settlement further, did not have enough time, went on excursions. The people here are friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The sea is clean, warm, and the nature is pristine. Very beautiful! Thank you all, we enjoyed it. The pool hasn't been done yet and there's nothing to do in the evenings. The partitions on the balconies are transparent, and there is water in the toilet after taking a shower. The Wi-Fi on my 3rd floor was bad. The reception staff doesn't even know how to get to the sea or where to find the toilet. I didn't really like the tall girl (Georgian), she lacks responsiveness.

But, it was not very convenient for us to go to the sea with a child, it was too far. Well, the sea was cold, as two mountain rivers flow into that place. There's also a dump nearby, and it was set on fire one night. I didn't feel any particular discomfort, but my mother-in-law has asthma, and she was very indignant. Locals say that this dump is regularly set on fire, but complaints do not give anything at all. The food is normal, there is something to eat, and you will not be hungry in general. There are no problems with excursions either. A guy is sitting right in front of the hotel and offers a large assortment for trips. Well, in general, if you walk around the village, then many people offer guided tours. The prices are all the same, plus or minus. About money. They like cash, but sometimes you can use a transfer. That's what I remember about the guy in front of the hotel, is that he can pay for the tour by transfer, while the rest have only cash. You can also add that their Wi-Fi is disgusting, but I connected roaming, so I didn't suffer much.

To the sea, 15 minutes on foot along the alley. The room is bright, cozy, very spacious for the three of us, two rooms. Everything is there - kettle, tea, sugar, refrigerator, TV. In general, I regretted only one thing - that we are already leaving tomorrow) I'd love to stay here for a week. Next time I'll book for more days. This year (2024) I didn't like the kitchen. And if you come 30 minutes before closing time, there is not even meat (and the fish was 1 time in 2 weeks, and then with a head, a piece, a type of trout). There is no variety of cuisine at all, compared to 2023. The food in the morning and in the evening is one (processing). At the end of the rest, for 3 days, there was not even porridge (in the evening rice-in the morning rice on the water, there is no oatmeal at all, and in general, what was not finished in the evening was diluted in the morning) Of the advantages: silence, the beach, cleanliness of the room. I will add: umbrellas and sun beds are shared with the second Golden Sands hotel, after 8 am you cannot lie under an umbrella. After 9, you can't find a couch.

The maids are polite, if requested and necessary, they will always change towels, bed linen or clean the room. The territory inside the hotel area is spacious. There is a stadium for physical education buildings, horizontal bars and uneven bars, around cypress alleys and the sea is a 10-minute walk through all this beauty. The prices are adequate. To the sea 10-15min.down a shady alley.Please ask the administration to make a passageway for vacationers at the dining room, and it will be closer to go to the sea.The territory is huge, beautiful, and there is a large new swimming pool. Rest in Citrusovoye is for calm and family people. There is a free beach at the Golden Sands boarding house.
