16.09.2025 at 08:00, I will send my 2023 model electric Corsa car 2 to the Opel Opal authorized service. I had to leave it for maintenance. The friend in charge at the reception was very smiling. He put a disposable bag on the driver's seat and steering wheel before taking delivery of my car. Then he went to the computer together and sorted the actions to be performed after getting the necessary information: Brake fluid change Pollen filter replacement 2.air conditioner ozone cleaning within the scope of year maintenance In return, they demanded a fee of more than 11 thousand TL. When I said that ”there is no such thing as ozone cleaning in periodic maintenance, I don't want to have it done," they politely removed it from the list. The remaining amount has been updated to 8.245 TL. I asked them to leave the changed parts in the trunk. They said they could put the pollen filter on, but the brake fluid could not be given because it was liquid. At that moment, I realized that “it was actually just liquid, rather than the replaced part.” When I asked what the total amount of 8.245 TL corresponds to, however: 6.000 TL workmanship, The rest was announced as the cost of materials. In other words, I was almost robbed by paying 6,000 TL labor for two operations that can be performed for 1,000 TL on average. It is difficult for a person to have to undergo mandatory maintenance at an authorized service center so that the warranty does not deteriorate, when faced with such high and unfair fees. I have conveyed the situation to Opel Turkey. However, the answer they gave was as follows in a nutshell: “We cannot interfere in the pricing policy of authorized services, companies set their own prices according to free market conditions.” Result: If you are buying an Opel, you are at the mercy of the authorized service in the province where you are located. Opel Turkey does not stand behind its users. They oblige us to authorized service under the pretext of guarantee, but they do not control the unfair earnings of the services. ⚠️ My warning is this: Before using these services, be sure to call by phone and ask what transactions will be made and how much it will cost. Don't be a victim like me. Even if your car is an Opel, the healthiest solution is: Buy it directly. 😊
