Architectural Marvel Standing 468 meters tall in Pudong, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (1994) is Asia's second-highest tower. Its iconic design features 11 suspended spheres, symbolizing "pearls falling on a jade plate". The tower's three-tiered structure includes: Lower Sphere (98m): Exhibitions and space-themed attractions. Upper Sphere (263m): A rotating restaurant and 360° observation deck. Space Cabin (350m): The highest panoramic view point. Cultural Significance Designed by architect Yu Mu, the tower blends Chinese aesthetics (e.g., palace-style spires) with Western engineering (transparent elevators and steel frames). It mirrors Shanghai's fusion of tradition and modernity, akin to the Statue of Liberty's role in New York. Tourist Hub As a 5A-rated attraction, it attracts millions annually. Beyond sightseeing, it hosts exhibitions, concerts, and broadcasts, embodying the city's dynamism. Its nightly light show illuminates the Huangpu River skyline.

I highly recommend visiting to see the panorama of Shanghai, preferably from both panoramic platforms, especially impressive is the one with a glass floor) There is also a gorgeous museum of Chinese history in the tower, which is also very interesting, and you can learn a lot of new things)) There are a lot of souvenir shops in the tower on the ground floor, they are all very high quality, there are also sweets and ice cream (highly recommended) at a very affordable price and very tasty, one of the oldest and most famous Chinese companies, all Chinese have known it since childhood, as we chocolate "Alyonka". There's also a robot that makes coffee with very unusual flavors. A must have is to buy a high-quality and very beautiful magnet with the main symbol of Shanghai - the TV tower))

If you haven't been to Shanghai, then you don't know anything about China. The pearl of the country. A city that symbolizes the leap forward of China with its huge population. A city with 28 million inhabitants. And to say that it's super boring here. I won't tell. Surprisingly a lot of space. The pearl of Shanghai, also known as the Oriental Pearl, is a TV tower. For tourists, the first point to visit. The observation deck is not as high as, say, in the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, but nevertheless 263 meters with an all-round view. The whole city is visible. But the most interesting place for a photo is a 259-meter playground with a glass floor. An unforgettable experience. Be sure to visit. The adrenaline rush is guaranteed. You can visit the Shanghai Museum in the tower. The history of the city's development in an interesting composition.

Stunning views of Shanghai open from the observation deck, you can buy delicious ice cream in the shape of the Pearl of the East, eat ice cream and admire the views))) there are a lot of people , but inside everything is arranged so that no one interferes with each other , the queue for the elevators moves quickly , the staff is friendly , and both adults and children will enjoy the tour.

The place is incredible! You definitely need to go to the tower! The views are cool! It is suitable for people who are very afraid of heights, as the tower is not high compared to nearby skyscrapers. If you find yourself in Shanghai, be sure to visit. The price is 199 yuan/adult.

A great place, a view. Tickets to the observation deck of the tower are not expensive. I highly recommend visiting. Gorgeous view of Shanghai. All-round view. A glass-floored room. There is an unusual cinema in the tower, where a film about Shanghai of the future is shown. Many interesting souvenirs are sold right on the observation deck.

You need to admire this beauty firsthand, the tower shimmers especially beautifully at night. Of course, there are many tourists from all over the world. The price of the visit is about 400 yuan per climb, but we did not go up to the observation deck. We found a beautiful hotel with a restaurant on the 37th floor, nearby with a magnificent view of the whole of Shanghai and admired the scenery from there.

There are a lot of people, but the organization of the movement is generally good. You'll have to stand in line up and down for a while. At the very top, an attraction for exploring the fear of heights is a glass floor. The views from the tower are excellent, especially if the weather is good. When visiting, the weather was moderately cloudy, but the views were still there. Where there is an observation room without a glass floor, there are inscriptions in Chinese and English along the way with a description of what you are currently looking at.

Hello. We were with our family in the middle of October 2025. We booked a TRIP tour. With a buffet in a revolving restaurant. I must say, there is a lot of variety and it is very tasty. The tower itself has the best impressions. The views are great. We took a ride on a 70-meter roller coaster. Great. For an additional fee. I think it's 99 yuan. I recommend

We wanted to see the evening Shanghai, the queue took about an hour. The views are amazing. There are 2 observation rooms, one higher with a view of the city, and a little lower with a transparent floor. Definitely ready to visit. We need to plan the climb taking into account the weather conditions so that there is good visibility, we were lucky on the first day)

A beautiful, colorful tower. It wasn't worth climbing to the top. Small windows, a "space capsule" and a toilet (if you want to relieve yourself at an altitude of 351 meters)) The glass floor is impressive, it's better to walk during the day, we walked in the evening, it was scary, but the lights got in the way. The city is huge, it goes beyond the horizon, everyone needs to see it!

We were unlucky, there was a huge queue (2.5 hours) The view is beautiful. In the evening, when combined with a visit to the restaurant, it would probably be more interesting. There are a lot of people inside, which makes the glass floor dirty. (The level with the glass floor is below the main one, you need to go down the stairs). Air conditioning is not available everywhere.

I'll give you 4, for the queue. There was no reason to go up there at any other time of the year. And in August, everything worked out. The first one looks awesome. The pictures are great. But.. get ready if it's the season, 2-3 hours in line to climb. It's also very, very hot and stuffy. From 1.5 to 2 hours to descend. Close back to back. You need to book the restaurant in advance. Well, you can also go to the tower museum. In general, it's a majestic thing. Be patient and go.

A magnificent tour of the tower. Souvenirs and ice cream in the form of a tower are on top. The most interesting thing is the glass floor, it's scary. The whole city is clearly visible. I recommend it when it's dark. I can't convey the impression.

A lot of people, of course, but a fun experience. The tower is huge, there are hundreds of floors, I don't remember, but the elevators are very fast, high-speed. The panoramic view is very steep, especially through the transparent floor. Quite an interesting Shanghai History Museum downstairs. I recommend it!

As an attraction itself, you can see it. Tickets are sold at box office 2 at the entrance, look for the 2nd one, for the rest it's just the entrance and exit. It was very noisy, loud, we got up and looked at it in 15 minutes, but we went down for an hour, if not longer, it's not much fun, considering that there are no air conditioners, and it's stuffy there.

The views from the TV tower are great, but I haven't even seen the whole of Shanghai from this height. The queues for the elevator are different, since I was with the group, we waited about 5-8 minutes. The architecture is amazing.

One of the business cards of Shanghai. There are a lot of tourists, but no one bothers anyone. The glass floor is just a fire, very high-speed elevators, they take you to the top in a few seconds. The panoramas of the city are great.

And compared to other towers and skyscrapers, so-so. The glass floor pleased me, but the highest sphere is just trash! Small, cloudy oval windows, facing one way, and there are two or three of them, I don't remember exactly. It definitely wasn't worth it! If I had known, I would have gone to a skyscraper in the form of a bottle opener.
