I recently had lunch at the OshPalov restaurant in Tashkent, and my impressions were the warmest. This is one of those places where you want to return again — delicious, cozy, homely, but at the same time with a sense of style and real oriental hospitality. I'll start with the main thing — pilaf. I've tried this traditional Uzbek delicacy many places, but it's really special in OshPalov. They cook it with a soul: crumbly rice, soft meat, fragrant zyrvak, carrots are sliced properly — everything is as it should be. It feels like the chefs know their stuff. There are several types of pilaf to choose from, and each has its own taste and character. I especially liked the Ferghana pilaf — rich, with bright spices and an excellent balance of oil. In addition to pilaf, I was pleased with the rest of the menu: delicious salads, fragrant shurps, flatbreads straight from tandoor, juicy kebabs. Everything is fresh, served beautifully and quickly. The portions are generous, you definitely won't leave hungry. I would also like to mention the high—quality green tea, which is served hot in a bowl, as it should be according to local traditions. The interior of the restaurant is modern, but with oriental elements. Spacious, bright, clean. Very cozy atmosphere: soft light, calm music, comfortable sofas. It's nice to be with friends and family. The staff is polite, friendly and unobtrusive. The waiters know the menu perfectly, help with the selection and serve quickly, without delay. It is also worth noting the good location of the restaurant — it is easy to reach both by car and on foot. Parking is available, which is important. The prices are quite adequate, especially considering the quality of the food and service. In terms of price-quality ratio, it is one of the best Uzbek cuisine restaurants I have ever visited. In general, OshPalov is a place where you can experience the real atmosphere of Uzbek cuisine and hospitality. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a delicious meal, enjoy the national cuisine and spend time in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back again, and I'm sure more than once.
