I want to write here my impressions of the Island-Ok recreation center in Akshi, on Alakol. When I bought the tour, I only saw pictures. I was very worried that my expectations would match reality. But everything coincided. The base is new, everything is neat, modern and well maintained. The rooms have everything for a comfortable stay: TV, Internet, refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning, and even a clothes dryer. The food is simple, tasty and homely. The area is clean, beautiful and peaceful. There are few houses, so there are few people. The staff is helpful and friendly — always on site and ready to help. There is a Playground, terraces and swings near the cabins, you can relax and just enjoy nature. The coast is gorgeous: clear water, convenient access, there are sun beds, umbrellas and water activities for every taste. We were also lucky with the weather! Anyway, Island-Ok, Thanks for the warm welcome! 💙

Recreation at the recreation center "Ostrov-Ok", Lake Alakol; Positive: Excellent location — 2-5 minutes walk to the water (depending on the location of the house). ✔ Private beach. ✔ Very friendly and helpful staff — special thanks, the atmosphere of comfort is created from the doorstep! ✔ Cleanliness, new houses, everything you need for a comfortable stay. ✔ High-speed stable Wi-Fi. ✔ The 9th house has elite plumbing (toilet bowl, sink and mirror), according to the owner - in the amount of over 1 million tenge! 😮 Cons and suggestions: 🔹 The beach needs to be improved — the sun beds are uncomfortable: just boards on metal frames lying directly on the rocks. It is difficult to get up even for the young, and even more so for the elderly. At least small legs would make the rest more comfortable. On the neighboring base, the sun beds are higher and more comfortable. The playground is located in the open sun — children are not visible there during the day. It would be better to install a canopy or choose a shaded location. From the high shore there is a magnificent view of the lake, but there is not a single bench. There are not enough cozy places to relax — benches, swings to enjoy the views of sunrises and sunsets. The sauna is cozy, the steam room is great, but there is no shower! To the question "where to wash after the steam room?" they said, "in the room." 🔹 3/5 meals — you won't stay hungry, but you don't have a choice. There is a paid menu, but you need to order 2 hours in advance — it's not very convenient. Tip: post the menu for tomorrow evening so that you can decide in advance and place an order as desired. ⸻ Otherwise, everything is super: the cleanest air, clear water, the special energy of Alakol — all this left a lot of positive emotions and vivid memories! I wish the Ostrov-Ok database to listen to the comments and implement all improvement plans. We will definitely come again — I hope there will be changes and only for the better! The potential for development of the Island is huge — the main thing is not to stand still!

We were together, fell in love with this place 😍 Calm atmosphere, great view of the lake, especially at sunset 🌅. The sauna is a delight, new and cozy. I liked the food and cleanliness in the cottage. We will definitely return, we have already booked for the season!
