Wonderful location, within walking distance from the old town and the embankment. It is located on the 3rd floor of the building (there is an elevator). The only thing is that they didn't say the entrance code when ordering... I had to look for a phone and make a call (it's good that we bought a connection, otherwise we would have stood there for a long time). So ask for the entrance code right away.
We lived in rooms 1 and 2. It was originally one large room, which was divided into two and had toilets with showers inside. The window of the 1st room overlooks the courtyard, where it is quiet, but there is nothing to see, besides, people walk past the window and the view is very sad (hoods, etc.). The 2nd room is larger, with a decorative fireplace and a balcony facing the street, where they often shout, make music (near youth clubs) and music from cars. The 1 room is cramped, the bed and the path around it are clean. The kettle, glasses, and so on are on the windowsill, as there is no room for a table. There was a small refrigerator in the 2nd room, but there was no refrigerator in the 1st room. There is a double bed and one blanket. There is a second blanket in the closet, but it turned out to be stained. There is a TV in the rooms, but no TV :) Only the Internet is connected to the smart TV, so you enter your account and use it, even for a fee, even for free. There is the same YouTube and other applications.
The rooms are cleaned every day. Water is supplied daily. There is a kettle in the room. There are disposable toothbrushes and shampoos in the bathroom. The safe is very small, you can only put your wallet or passport in there, the camera is not included. In addition, this safe is not bolted to it, it can be easily carried away, especially since it is small and light.
The kitchen is shared, there are breakfasts, which are quite monotonous, but you won't starve and it's delicious. The kitchen has a cooler with water, a microwave, dishes, you can sit or cook something. For breakfast, you can ask for coffee (brewed in Turkey) or tea (tea bags), milk or lemon can be added on request. Everything else is cooked right there (eggs, kutabs), everything is hot.
If you need to have lunch, dinner, or just get hungry, there is an Arishta eatery around the corner. The prices are reasonable, but there are also disadvantages (read about this in a separate review).
There is a washing machine in the kitchen, but it is forbidden to use it. Laundry services are not provided, but they said you can arrange with one of the maids and she will do the laundry for a fee. We never found this maid, even though we wanted to do the laundry.
There is Wi-Fi. The staff is friendly and speaks Russian.

A small hotel in the city center. The sea is 200 meters away, and the fountain square is the same. Maiden Tower is about 7 minutes on foot. Everything is nearby.
We lived in 3 rooms, wonderful. There are more than enough places, a balcony with a sea view, well, almost visible))
The room was cleaned every day, they always put water, sugar, there is a kettle, and in the kitchen there are any dishes, stove, microwave. If it occurs to you to cook something, well done.
The advantage was a free transfer from the airport, they also took us back, however, for 30 manats.
Perhaps it is worth noting the breakfasts. From 8 to 11, a wonderful woman runs the kitchen, managing to fry pancakes, cut vegetables and make coffee at the same time. I really liked it. Good plumbing, impeccable WF.
Perhaps the street under the windows is out of discomfort. The young people here have turned cars into discos, and they delight the ear with a high-quality beat in a continuous stream from evening to morning.
And so I will come back here with pleasure! Great place!

When you choose a hotel, you read the reviews. They are different. But you always need to understand that people are different. About the hotel: great location. Near the embankment, the Old Town, This hotel is located on the third floor of an old house. There is an elevator. Converted apartments into rooms. Such options are often found in Europe and there are in St. Petersburg. Our room was big. The bathroom is about 30 meters away. High ceilings. New plumbing, good repair. The bathroom has everything (towels, soap shampoos and gels, hair dryer). I'm sleeping with a hard mattress, but I'm comfortable since I have the same one at home. Cleaning every day. Cleanliness and order. Tomorrow, every day was the same (it was from May 3-7). But there is everything to eat. Coffee is brewed in Turkey. Delicious. The staff is friendly. If you are not sitting in your room, but have come to see Baku, then this is a great option. There are many cafes around for different budgets. Also, many thanks to the staff for checking in early after the overnight flight. Free transfer from the airport (upon check-in at the hotel for at least three days). I liked everything! Thanks to the staff for our stay!

One of the advantages is the city center)
The rest is mostly cons. In short, if you fall asleep at any noise, it doesn't bother you that you'll be banging your elbow against the walls in the toilet / shower, then you can take) Otherwise, it's definitely worth looking for something else.
The first thing that greets you is a search for this hotel, they don't take phones in vouchers, they don't answer WhatsApp. By default, they are populated with a view of the courtyard with barbed wire, in theory it will be quieter there at night, but the view is so-so)
If you live with a view of the street, then everything is OK during the day, in the evening and at night it is extremely noisy, the windows are closed, but you can see the rubber bands have already dried up and the noise is calmly coming from the street. Plus, there's a nightclub on the ground floor and you can hear it until 5 a.m.
There are breakfasts, but modest, in general, there are few complaints about them after spending the night here)

A REVIEW FOR THOSE WHO ARE CONSIDERING THIS HOTEL FOR CHECK-IN.
I came across an extremely unpleasant situation at the hotel during the New Year holidays.
1. The room was booked and purchased by us six months before check-in. But at the time of arrival, there was no room for us, and we were forced to move to another hotel from the same owner in an ultimatum. There are no reviews for this second hotel either on Yandex or on the Island, and it looks like a flophouse.
And the staff in it speaks only Azerbaijani, not knowing English and not knowing that we are planning to relocate.
2. The credo of the hotel and its owner: "The lack of a room is not the problem of the hotel, but the problem of the guest."
3. If you are given an ultimatum to relocate, contact the aggregator where you booked the hotel and ask to be relocated to another one and do not succumb to the provocation of the owners (thus, the Island relocated us to the hotel in Icheri Sheker for free, resolving the issue in 2 hours in total)
4. We asked to see the room stock to understand if we wanted to stay and what happened to our room, and we, strangers, were let into someone else's room, which contained the guests' belongings. Security is on the level.
5. The hotel owners had several hours to inform us that there were problems with our room, for example, when we were stuck in traffic from the airport, or in the morning when we did not board the plane. But the hotel chose to cheat.
6. If you have a situation like mine, in addition to requesting an aggregator, write a statement to the police and the consulate. It takes time, but it will be justified.

We stayed in this hospitable place for 5 days in the second half of August. There is no usual representation of the hotel, although we booked 4*. But! This is a wonderful, cozy, large apartment, converted into apartments for vacationers. The building is probably the beginning of the 20th century, a large front door, an elevator will immediately take you to the 3rd floor to the hotel doors. Everything is very intimate. The company occupied three rooms, all photos correspond. The room has air conditioning, TV, kettle, hairdryer. Cleaning daily, changing towels daily, a couple of bottles of water daily, staff support every second, responsive, friendly. Beds are a separate love! Very convenient, comfortable! Breakfast is monotonous, but very tasty, always fresh, cooked in front of you. Porridge, nesquik, milk, cottage cheese, fried eggs, boiled eggs, omelet with tomatoes, sausages, sausage, cheese, fried envelopes with herbs and cheese, toasts, honey, jams, butter, juices, coffee, tea.
The location is great! Fountain Square-2 minutes, old town - 5 minutes, embankment-7 minutes, etc.
Special thanks to the administrator Emin! Any issue is resolved positively, with Caucasian hospitality and responsiveness!
If you come to see the city, take a walk, sleep comfortably after walking, do not wait for 4 * for an adequate price, then we recommend it!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is nice, small, clean rooms, freshly renovated, delicious breakfast. Cleaning every day, the room has a split, kettle, tea, safe, slippers, toothpaste, brush, shampoo, shower gel. I want to say separately about the staff, Emin, Javid at the reception, the women who cook breakfast and clean, just respect, always come to the rescue, answer any question, order a taxi, transfer, book a table in a restaurant. In general, it feels like you're in a family. The staff has 5 points!

Don't waste your time and nerves on this "hotel". Here, guests are deceived and their conditions are imposed in an ultimatum form. You book one room, you are checked into another with the words: but there is no one, check into the one that we give. They cheat with the cost (all taxes and fees were included in the price, as a result, there were some more taxes to finish off to a round sum, apparently). The manager is a boor, and the woman at the reception blushed at her voicemails. We booked a triple room for two (it's more expensive and has a refrigerator, unlike the standard one), as a result, this manager said that there were two of us and there was nothing to even think about a triple room, other guests were accommodated in it. This is the first time I've encountered such an inappropriate attitude towards guests. We have ordered a transfer from this "hotel". The driver was probably just an acquaintance of the owners, who was talking loudly on the phone, cursing traffic jams and wanted to smoke. They didn't get to the place because "well, the holiday is closed." OK. We paid $ 10 on the spot for the transfer, which we were told in correspondence with the hotel. As a result, in order to cancel the room and collect the money, they demanded to pay an additional $ 5 for the transfer. In general, it's a complete mess and a boorish attitude towards the guests, I don't even know what to compare it with.

The rating is 5 rather for the price-quality-location ratio. The most important advantage of the hotel is its location. This is a small hotel converted from an apartment. The furniture is not new, but neat, the linen is snow-white, the air conditioner is old, it does not cool much, the water was changed every day, they helped with any request, there was little choice for breakfast, but we ate enough. In general, it is not an excellent option for a hotel stay. Those who like direct hotel service, it is better to choose a more expensive hotel

If you are used to living in a hostel, then this place will be normal.
This is not a hotel at all , but a hostel . We paid over 150,000₽ for 6 nights for this room, although we booked a superior. In the owner's opinion, this is what superior looks like. There is no sound insulation , it feels like I came to my grandmother 's village. In the morning , pots rattle in the kitchen , and water runs from the tap . All this can be heard in the room ( oh in the room )They didn 't even take breakfast . The administrator refused the request to refund the money and said that he did not understand Russian . But even when they spoke to him in English , he couldn 't say anything either . In the morning, we were offered a different room, but it was not what is in the photo and description. I had to rent another room , but in a different hotel . And our son stayed in this room (the three of us) . It's a muddy place, we don't recommend staying there in any way.
