We are currently vacationing on Hainan Island in China. We chose the Palm Beach resort & spa hotel. The price-quality ratio is very good. The 4 * hotel is located near the airport, 10 minutes drive. The hotel has a large, green area. The hotel consists of a 7-storey main building and 3-storey bungalows (4 units near the main building with rooms A, B, C, D and several bungalows across the street, closer to the sea).We have a superior room in a bungalow. We were put up in Bungalow D. Room 8333 on the 3rd floor. The room is very spacious and there is a bathroom too. The room has a large bed with a comfortable mattress, a TV, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a small sofa. There is a kettle, tea bags, cups, 2 bottles of 0.55 liters of water are supplied every day. There are personal hygiene products: toothbrushes with toothpaste in individual packages, soap, shower caps, shower gel in a dispenser, combs in individual packages, hair dryer. The hotel is located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Sanya. The city center can be reached by bus for 2 yuan per person one way. We took three meals a day. Breakfast and lunch are from 7 to 13-30, if you order with lunch, then lunch is the same breakfast that turns into lunch and ends at 13-30. The dishes for lunch change a little. Dinner from 18-00 to 21-00. For breakfast, fried eggs, bacon, sausages, rice buns with and without filling, fried noodles, sponge cake, Belgian waffles, steamed vegetables. For dinner, fried fish, chicken, duck, beef on skewers, dumplings with vegetable filling. There are always cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, carrots, sauces. There are always 2 types of fruits: oranges, bananas, watermelon, melon, papaya, pineapple. There's bottled beer for dinner. The sea is not far from the hotel. A very wide sandy beach with a length of 22 kilometers. The entrance to the sea is shallow. There are few sun beds on the beach under the palm trees. There is no shower on the beach. The hotel provides beach towels. Once again, in my opinion, a good combination of price and quality.

We just got back. The hotel is nice, but tired. We rested in the main building on the 5th floor overlooking the sea. You open your eyes in the morning, and you have a beautiful view of palm trees, the island opposite, and the sea. The food is delicious. We had coffee in the room in the morning and went to the beach, returned at 12 and went for breakfast and lunch. Around this time, more hot dishes and soup appeared. We never went hungry, we overeated, we really wanted to eat in local cafes, but there was no room left in the stomach after lunch or dinner :))) There is a shop on site where you can buy everything from beer to a suitcase. On the third street, if you go left for 10 minutes, there are shops and a supermarket, if you go right for 30 minutes, there is also a supermarket, but expensive. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the city by bus 125, individual guides will always help and tell you how to get to any place. The tours were taken from the tour operator and did not regret it. You need to be careful with the locals and ask about guides (Russian-speaking, accompanying or not, they don't feed you on excursions) and only then make a decision to go or not. There is a medical center in the main building, people come there from other hotels, we haven't been there, I can't say anything about it, but someone was treated there and seems to be satisfied. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel, and China is now our love. We will definitely come back again!

An amazing hotel! We stayed there for a week (July 10-17, 2025). Wi-Fi is free and fast. The beach is really 100m away - cross the road and that's it! There is a bus stop nearby where you can get to the center. There are lizards in the room that are not kicked out, because they eat parasites. Most of the time they hide in curtains and air conditioning, so they are not very visible. The shower is comfortable, clean, and there is hot/cold water. The toilet is ordinary, clean, and toilet paper is always replenished. The reception is very pretentious, the restaurant serves delicious and interesting food every time. The food is designed for tourists, not too spicy and familiar to us, familiar. But I advise you to take medications for the gastrointestinal tract, it will be very useful. There are food shops on the territory: snacks, beer, ice cream, fruits; clothes: swimsuits, shirts and slippers; pools are shallow, 1.2-1.4 m, but the water there is WARM. The territory of the hotel is very beautifully decorated - trees, flowers, ponds, pitchers, beautiful lighting and decor everywhere. Cicadas are constantly chirping and frogs are croaking! You can't hear it at night.

The room is budget, not a suite, but we only spent the night there, so everything was fine. The room was cleaned daily and the maid left 2 bottles of drinking water. The beach is across the street from the hotel. There are no sand fleas there, everything is being processed. If you walk further (a couple of km away from the hotel), you can notice the bitten locals. So that's a plus for the hotel. It is better to move into the upper floors, or even into a multi-storey building. It's very damp in the lower levels. It feels like the bed is wet all the time. At first, they didn't believe in him, they thought, like in other countries with massage, it was purely to raise money. But no. Firstly, acupuncture in combination with a needle knife helps from the first procedure, secondly, they do not prescribe procedures if they are not needed- they talked to many hotel guests about this, thirdly, they performed an additional procedure at my request, which they said would most likely not help, t There should be another solution, but I asked for it, and they didn't charge me, because they said they couldn't guarantee it in this particular case. But they solved the long-standing problem with the knee - in Russia they could not diagnose or treat it properly - they prescribed drugs that have a very negative effect on the stomach and bring only temporary relief. They solved the problem there. It hasn't bothered me for at least two weeks. There is a store on site where the goods are either at the cost of stores located away from the hotel, or cheaper. There is a small street with a cafe next to the hotel - you need to exit from the end, go down to the intersection and turn left. We tried the food in different cafes on this street, the most delicious food is in the first cafe, that is, if you look at them with your face, then the most extreme on the left. the service is fast, the attitude is friendly, the prices are low and most importantly delicious and they understand what needs to be done - please, if not spicy, they do not make it spicy. In others, they pretended to understand, as a result, they brought the wrong thing. In this cafe you can always choose fish and seafood from the aquarium, they will be cooked in the form you need (fried, stewed, steamed) if something is not in the assortment, you can order it. The housekeeper didn 't suit us at all , so we paid an additional 80 yuan per day and moved into a nice room with a veranda and sun beds .. The room itself is large , 30 meters for sure. The large beds and mattresses are good, the pillows are comfortable.. We didn 't move for nothing .. And the view is beautiful . On the balcony there is a table and chairs made of cast iron, and a rod for drying things. The food is good, very tasty dumplings with vegetables, potato tortillas, like our terunki, kefir. There is a choice. From the main building to the right, if you stand with your back to the entrance, walk 50 meters, go to the 3rd street from the sea and there are several cafes with very pleasant prices. But everything was digestible! Thanks to the chef! The rooms were cleaned every day! Towels, toothbrushes, hats, combs, drinking water and two types of tea - all this was changed every day! Thanks to the service staff! The most important thing for us was that it was a huge beach nearby, a three-minute walk from the hotel. The water is just great! And anyway, despite the sub-equatorial climate, it was surprisingly good to breathe and feel! Much better than in Sochi! The silence, in the sense of people, peace, clean air, the singing of exotic birds, squirrels, crabs, butterflies, coconut palms and other amazing flora - words simply cannot convey how all this plunged into another world! Someone will say: Is this the first time you've seen palm trees? That's not the point! It is this kind of atmosphere that allows you to disconnect from our urban, gray hustle and bustle! By the way, who goes to the hotel without lunch and dinner: near the hotel you can find good cafes with Chinese cuisine! It all depends on the budget, of course! If you go around the hotel and head to the right, you can find a large selection of these cafes. I only had breakfast, but it was like lunch, so many people went to the beach in the morning and only then for breakfast, it was until 12:30. At the entrance to the beach there are local guides Lesha-Sasha. Many of their tours are much cheaper, but keep in mind that you will be without a guide. And most of the attractions can be visited on your own (by bus, on a moped). I advise everyone to set up an alipay for themselves and it will be cheaper to take a taxi and pay wherever you want, they all have an alipay (like we have sberonline and Yandex in one). I also took a Chinese SIM card just so that alipay could work for the World Bank in Russia. But it turned out to be more profitable to take it on a tripcom, unless, of course, you have the support of esim. The city is quite safe and we walked quietly until late at night anywhere in the city.
