The monument was erected in honor of the brothers-heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Evgeny, Alexander and Peter Lizyukov were born in Gomel in the family of a rural teacher. During the war, the brothers died defending their homeland. The monument is good, the sculptural composition is special, it attracts attention. We examined the monument with interest, honored the memory of the heroic soldiers.

There is a beautiful monument in a beautiful place! There was a feeling a few years ago that there was a lack of such a monument in one of the central squares of the city. The three Lizyukov brothers - Peter, Evgeny, Alexander - all participated in the Great Patriotic War, and all three died in battle. And so, in 2019, a sculpture group was installed. It is symbolic that on Victory Square, the figures of the brothers stand, one might say, "back to back," as some statesmen like to put it.
There are countless families in which 3 brothers fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. My grandfather, for example, had one of his brothers killed in the battles for Konigsberg, as did Pyotr Lizyukov.
It seems that this monument has already become one of the symbols of the city above Sozh.

The monument to the hero pilots, natives of Gomel, harmoniously fit into the architecture of the street!

An excellent solution for a group monument to the hero brothers! The view is beautiful from any side - the main character is facing all the viewers. Masculinity, monumentalism, organically integrated into the city! Perfectly!!!
