I was born next to him, grew up next to him, I can't even imagine how it would be without him. There are benches where you can sit in the shade, a playground in front of your eyes, where small children run around with pleasure, without any danger. On holidays, the fire of eternal memory is lit. Two shrikes (cannons) were placed nearby. Everything reminds us of the feat of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War.

The monument to the liberator of Polotsk is located on Freedom Square, consists of a memorial wall, bas-reliefs and an eternal flame. Nearby there is a memorial to the heroes of 1812 and several models of cannons. I recommend a visit.
