We explored the surroundings and sights of Paphos as independent (semi-independent)wild tourists on bicycles. It so happened that the archaeological park of Kato Paphos was bypassed along the perimeter both from the sea (by the way, driving on stones along a wire fence is a below average pleasure) and from the city (this segment of the way is much more pleasant, and the ruins are better visible). We also visited the park and joined the historical and cultural heritage of Cyprus. We were impressed by the villa of Dionysus, antique floor mosaics, and the remains of an amphitheater. But at the same time, it is worth recognizing that moving from one object to another was quite tedious, and the obvious cognitive value of the excursion in the fight against the sweltering heat was losing. Those who come to the park for the opening will benefit, because even before closing, the heat at the end of summer did not subside much

Amazing mosaics!... A wonderful lighthouse built in 1888. We enjoyed our visit very much. All inscriptions are in English and Greek. You must have a hat or an umbrella from the sun and water with you. And it's even better to drive out of season. In April, for example, poppies bloom there and in general the greens are still fresh and not burnt out. I advise you to come to the opening in the morning.
