I remember this park since 1959. At that time, there was only a VICTORY Park sign at the entrance to the park. There was a well-maintained territory, walking paths, drinking fountains, benches for recreation. Summer cinema. Behind it is a playground with ordinary swings, houses and gazebos. There was a bust of Alexander Pushkin (it was rearranged in the present century). There was a parachute tower where the flower bed is now. Every year, the Park became a favorite vacation spot for the townspeople. Every year it was reconstructed and became more and more beautiful. There are many attractions for both children and adults. Ice cream and cheese buffets. Summer dance floor (In the movie "Anthracite" many episodes were filmed in our city, including this dance floor). A children's railway was built.
