We were with a friend in Victory Park on May 10, 2024. We came specially from Moscow to visit Khatyn, because our parents liberated Belarus during the Second World War. Apart from the Eternal Flame, there is nothing special in the park. There are not even portraits of Heroes liberating Belarus, like the Immortal Regiment, as we have in Moscow. It's sad and incomplete. There is a feeling that the leadership of Minsk does not care who gave freedom to the residents and how. 😞

A beautiful, well-maintained park. There are places to ride bicycles and scooters. There are no problems with fast food. Cards are accepted everywhere. There are many shady alleys. There is an island and a bridge to it. There are boats and catamarans. A pleasure boat. Promenade. Everything is there. I just wish I was there. I really want to return to Minsk with a bike and for a long time. Just ride in the evenings and on weekends and enjoy the parks and cycling infrastructure. The cleanliness and friendliness of Belarusians. Thanks to Alexander Grigorievich for saving and multiplying it. Thanks to the Belarusians for their hard work. You're doing just fine together. Parking is available, small and free.

one of the best parks in Europe. Big, beautiful, clean, cozy, diverse. It is located along the river, so there is an "embankment" in the park. There is a city bike path inside, and there are a lot of scooters for rent. There are several food outlets, quite simple, fast food, kebabs, the restaurant was closed. The park is very well maintained, the trees and bushes are in excellent condition. Several "squares", memorials, etc. structures. I definitely recommend it.

The best place for walking companies of any format - families, friends, photo shoots. A gorgeous fountain and firecrackers. Cafes and stalls with ice cream, drinks and corn. Rolling equipment. Lots of benches. One caveat is there are no squirrels.
