IMPOLITE FEMALE MANAGER
We were visiting this place on November 17. The food was delicious BUT the hostess (or manager, I don't have an idea what her position was) was very impolite. She didn't even say "hello" or "welcome"... and her face was always negative. When we finished the meal I wanted to take a photo inside, she was watching me intently as if I was trying to steal something even though I had just taken a photo of the interior... Not a good staff...

This is in their Teryan St Branch- My friend’s wine got some insect dived inside her glass and we told it to the waitress of course we know it’s not the restaurant’s fault but just telling her as for sure they could expect that since they are serving outside surrounded with trees and naturally evening flies can be everywhere but then she aren’t apologetic at all at least her reaction gave it away and instead she told it to her colleague and both of them just laughed at it that’s beyond rude! What a customer service they’ve got there! Totally disappointing and horrible experience!

It's a great place. We went in after the cascade, we thought it was just a pub, it turned out to be a restaurant. The staff is very polite and friendly. Meals are served quickly. The menu is like a volume of short stories, until you get tired of reading it. A choice for all tastes. There is a bathtub with pillows in the women's bathroom, probably so that you can lie down and relax)))). I recommend everyone to visit. The receipt includes the amount of 10% for the service.

If you've been to a good paulaner, you won't like it here - beer from small store barrels, mediocre dishes, no classic sausage + mashed potatoes + cabbage, while the menu is littered with dishes from all cuisines of the world, starting from tom yams and ending with pizza. Add to all this high prices and poor service and just choose another location

An extremely controversial place, we came with friends closer to noon and wanted to sit on the veranda for a short time, but all the tables were marked as reserved, when asked where we could sit down, they put us at the table without saying the time limit and after sitting for an hour, no one came, which either means that we were lucky, or that it was fiction. The cuisine is average, simple, will not provide any gastronomic experience, mostly junk food, but the place does not pretend to be anything more. The choice of weak alcohol is limited to two taps, and the critical moment was the absolutely tactless participation of the staff in our communication with some uninvited and unexpected comments that were not asked, and in particular when, having expressed obscenely in front of friends, being on a rather detached table, assuming that we can feel calm and free in expressions, we were met with a sharp and rude demand don't express yourself. It was extremely inappropriate and tactless, as if they had been scolded in a children's canteen, given that we are in a drinking establishment where such vocabulary is not something not normal. If you want to spend a pleasant time and not be shy about your speech, as well as not feel reprimanded in front of your child's parents, feel free to bypass this institution

A family with children came in.
We wanted to sit on the terrace.
They gave me a table.
Then we were transferred three times because the receptionist confused the tables and they were booked.
The waiter simply forgot part of the order, while saying that we did not order it.
In the end, he admitted that he had forgotten.
At the same time, he did not even apologize.
In general, I do not recommend it. The client is not expected here.

How "Movses is our best waiter" almost got into a fight with us over leftover sausages.
To summarize.
The worst service in Yerevan.
The beer arrived half an hour after the third request.
If there are two of you, they put it on you, because there is a table nearby where there are more people or local people.
It is a blatant lie that 10% of the receipt (at prices above average) is a "TAX". If you don't read Armenian, you won't know that 10% is included as a "service". I've attached a photo.
There is no complaint book here.
I will leave this review wherever possible so that as many people as possible are not harmed.
And now in detail and in order.
I must say right away - we had no complaints about food. Thanks to the chefs, everything was very tasty.
We arrived on Saturday evening, half of the tables on the street were marked "reserved", we were informed that there were places only inside. Two hours later, when we left, most of these tables were still empty.
We sat down with the menu, came up to us to take an order in about 15 minutes. The neighboring tables, where the locals were sitting, were served much faster. The neglect from the waiters was felt here all the time.
The food was delicious, without pretensions.
Then we asked for "one more" beer. The waiter took the order and disappeared. After about 15 minutes, they asked another waitress to bring the beer they had already ordered. Everyone is gone again. After another 10 minutes, they asked again.
Five minutes later, a third waiter named Movses brought us beer. It just so happens that we remember this name well.
Seeing how long they have been serving here, they immediately asked for the bill and wrapped the remaining sausages to-go.
We always leave tips. But by this point, we realized that there was not the slightest desire to thank the waiters for the service.
The receipt was delivered to us about 15 minutes later.
The waiter Movses immediately said that "the TAX is included in the check, but the service is not included," hinting at a tip on top of the check. We paid the check. Movses left without taking a portion of the menu with him for packing. We decided that they would just take out the packaging for us.
I went to Google Translate to make sure that the 10% is actually in the receipt.

At the same time, we read the reviews, it's a pity that we didn't do it earlier.
After about five minutes, Movses-jan was called to find out if we could still pack the food with us, to which he first looked into the glass and noted that there was still no tip.
They asked us to pack our food first.
Movses brought a bag of packaged food while he was holding it out, looked into the glass, saw that there was no "service charge" and immediately snatched the package back out of his hands.
He said that if there was no tip, he would not give us our food (for which we had paid). From the further words and behavior of Movses, I became scared and trembled. Fortunately, my young man kept his composure, stood up and handled the situation. The manager was called. From this development of events, Movses' tactics changed dramatically: "everything is fine, it's fine," he repeated.
So, the manager is Anna (previously, the waiter Anna appeared in the reviews - perhaps this is the same person). In the beginning, Movses-jan cut into our conversation with Anna. I had to politely ask them to let us finish.
Anna said that "Movses is our best waiter" and we just don't understand anything.
Any of our arguments were met with misunderstanding. The waiter's inappropriate behavior was justified.
We were not allowed to talk with the director of the restaurant, allegedly he was not in the restaurant. If the restaurant director is reading this now, we will be happy to talk to you.
In the end, Anna apologized for the situation, said she would talk to Movses.
We left furious, in a terrible state.
Such cases are extremely unpleasant - they spoil not only the evening and the impression of the restaurant. They spoil the impression of the city.

More customers came in front of us, in total, 2 tables were occupied in the cafe. We greeted each other in Russian, and the waiter answered through his teeth. After a while, he silently brought the menu and put it in front of us. Has left. After some time, I came to another table and took (probably) their order. There is zero attention in our direction. In total, more than 10 minutes have passed - despite the fact that there are only two tables of visitors - he did not deign to come to us. Disgusting service! A waiter named Anna practically threw beer mugs and dishes on the table, grabbed and took away mugs with half-finished beer, without asking our consent. I entered 10% by hand in the receipt. We understood perfectly well that this is a tip, we never skimp on tips if we are well served. My husband asked why 10%, the answer just killed))) - for the light, for the napkins! When we tried to explain to Anna-jan that it was impossible to serve in a very expensive place like that, she replied that if we were not satisfied with how she served, then we should have immediately told them to change the waiter. Therefore, I advise everyone - if the waitress is Anna, and you are a Slavic woman, even if accompanied by a man,
ask immediately to send a good waiter. My husband and I had a tradition - when visiting Armenia, we went to this cafe to drink a good beer. Now we are thinking - we need to change traditions. Poor service, rudeness.
They put pepper in an Aperol cocktail (3 people at the table tried and confirmed it), refused to redo it. According to them, "everything is fine, this is our variation, it's just cinnamon."
No one apologized, they defended their case to the last, without removing the cocktail from the bill.
But at least after the outrage, they brought a normal cocktail.
