Since June 23, we have been staying in this wonderful hotel on the first coastline in the heart of Dadonghai. In addition to its convenient location, the hotel itself is very spacious, modern, clean (rooms are cleaned daily), and the breakfasts are varied (you definitely won't stay hungry). There are swimming pools on the 3rd and 9th floors (the depth is more suitable for children), by the way, you can take circles and children's toys for the sandbox for free. Special thanks to the Russian-speaking manager Volodya, who always calmly and, most importantly, promptly solves any organizational issue. A friendly and pleasant person! I highly recommend the hotel! Have a good rest with positive impressions.

I'm afraid to recommend the hotel to people, because then I won't have enough space myself. We had a rest in August 2025. A great hotel with cool rooms, courteous staff, delicious food. For breakfast, which we had included, there was also the opportunity to taste local dishes and eat the usual European food. Dinners-seafood table: sushi, sushi, crabs, soups, shrimp, all kinds of shells.... live singing. The hotel is the first line. An escalator goes down to the sea. There is enough space for swimming in the sea, the beach is guarded, clean, without sand fleas. There are plenty of cafes, shops, a large Pineapple supermarket nearby. Of the excursions, I liked only their parks. Monkeys, Li and miao, etc. are not worth the money, in my opinion. In short, we will definitely go)))

We had a rest from 07/24/25- 08/01/2025 . We liked the Pearl River Garden Hotel as a whole, it is located almost in the very center of Dadonghai Bay, the first line, the view from the room to the sea and the exit via the escalator to the beach are very impressive. The beach is sandy, clean, the sea is also clean. Also, good room service, friendly staff, and a Russian-speaking guide also helped with everything. The infinity pool with the sea skyline is very beautiful, there is a gym, the breakfasts are very good, no one was hungry. We liked the room for about 4, because the bathroom is not allocated to a separate room and is closed only with a curtain, which is not very suitable for a family room.…It was also not entirely pleasant to have a closet in the room, one small bedside table for three people, and there was no hot water in the shower, but it was bearable in the heat. Near the hotel there is a beautiful embankment with various cafes, shops, supermarkets and even a park, KFS, there is a place to go in the evening when it gets dark. There were no problems with food outside the hotel either, the choice of good establishments is huge. We had lunch and dinner mostly at Lina's cafe, 12 Chairs. Also at the Pineapple shopping center in the Panda cafe, there were free drinks. We had a UnionPay card, but it only worked in large shopping malls. For small ones, they would withdraw cash from an ATM or they could bring it with them. In general, if you have cash, it is accepted everywhere, the best option. The price tag for food is about 30-50 yuan per person. We went on excursions to the water park, Monkey Island, a paid sightseeing tour, as well as a mountain expedition +rafting. We liked everything, everything is very beautiful and picturesque. The sea was very calm for the first two days, we swam a lot, then we started going on excursions, but it was also closed, there were strong waves. The beach opposite the hotel is fenced with buoys, you can not swim further than them. In general, I can say that I liked the atmosphere on vacation the most: the Chinese are very positive and good-natured, they treat Russians very well, I did not meet any Europeans at all, which made the rest very comfortable!

The cuisine is excellent - a large selection of dishes, everything is fresh and delicious, there are always places in the restaurant. Rooms with a smart home. The furniture is all fresh. Cleaning and linen change - every day. The location is excellent - the first coastline, near the winter shopping center, summer shopping center, a street with cafes. The only small disadvantage is the pools in the hotel with a depth of 1m. But if it's with the kids, they'll be fine. And there are a lot of interesting things for children here.

The pool is purely for beautiful photos, 0.5 m deep, the sea is across the street, but there is a covered bridge from the hotel that immediately descends to the beach. Breakfast The breakfast is delicious and varied. There are plenty to choose from. The chefs make a very delicious soup and omelette. There were problems with the coffee machines, but I would say that the island as a whole has problems with good delicious coffee. Of course, you can find it, but coffee shops are not as abundant as ours. There are also always fresh fruits and delicious desserts. The local ham/bacon tastes very strange. Fried dumplings are highly recommended. 4. Other The hotels have very friendly and helpful guides who are always ready to help with any question. Special thanks to Nanochka! The hotel's restaurants were pleased with the variety, quality of cooking and serving of dishes. The restaurant on the 9th floor of the hotel with a sea view is a separate kind of pleasure. But there is still one unpleasant moment. Check-in is strictly at 2 p.m. But for tourists arriving on early flights, the only option left to relax after the road is to buy a room for a day for a lot of money. It would be more pleasant for hotel guests if they added the possibility of hourly payment for a temporary room before checking into a permanent one.

They settled quickly, they take a deposit for a room of $ 100 or $ 5000, which, in principle, surprised unlike other countries, but was not a problem. They asked for a room with a sea view, which was given without problems and surcharges. The rooms are fresh and clean. A very huge 2nd bed and cool bedding (even in Turkey, there was no such thing in premium class hotels). Mini bar with water and all kinds of drinks, no alcohol. The room is cleaned every day, and everything is changed: bathrobes, slippers, pillows and all shower accessories. Beach towels are also in the room. A TV with 80 channels, and there is 1 Russian-language channel. The room has a smart home type system, until we got tired of memorizing which buttons for what. The general split system worked perfectly, which is rare in large hotels (in Cuba and Turkey it was a problem in some hotels). The bathroom is separate, I liked the quality of the water in China, the skin does not dry at all, as my wife said, even a hair balm was not needed. A huge balcony overlooking Dadonghai Bay, with a beautiful view. We took only breakfast, we liked everything, a wide variety of all sorts of goodies, even for those who are not very fond of Asian cuisine will be satisfied. The hotel has 4 restaurants: 3 on the 2nd floor and 1 restaurant on the 9th floor. There are also 2 swimming pools, one on the 3rd floor with a large roof, which is very good, since the sun is wild, you can get burned even in cloudy weather, which we were very surprised when we ourselves were slightly burned. The second Infinity pool, located on the 9th floor, has a very beautiful view of the bay. In the hotel, as we are used to in other countries, there are no bars on the Lobby, from the word at all, and not only in this hotel, there are no bars in others either.The beaches in Dudunhai are all urban, since 2020 the hotels have not had their own. The most important problem of the bay is the back currents, a terrible thing, in a small storm we personally saw what it is. Buoys are located in the sea, bathing areas are highlighted and are under the close attention of security. You can swim on the beach from 9.00 to 18.00. the rest of the time the beaches are closed. We went to the neighboring bay by taxi, there is no such problem, everything is fine, no one bothers you. The staff is responsive, but the problem is linguistic, almost no one knows Russian and English, and the electronic translator translates very poorly. There are guides Yasha and Zoya at the reception, so they speak Russian very well and are always ready to help if there is any problem at the hotel. As for the taxi, it is very cheap here, all the excursions that we visited ourselves went on it, it is quite affordable. A large selection of fruits around the hotel, a lot of shops. The cafe is also for all tastes and colors. Pineapple shopping center is a 10-minute walk away, where you can buy gifts, groceries and things. Regarding the Infinity pool - it is not deep, only a meter, so you will not be able to swim in the pools in this hotel! The sea in front of the hotel has never been opened in 11 days, so I had to go to other "pens". The breakfasts are delicious, varied, and there was enough for everyone. If you arrive at night without early booking, be prepared for the fact that you will be checked in only the next day at 12-13 o'clock. But there is a rest room where you can sleep while waiting.

There are Russian-speaking guides at the hotel from 8 to 18h. Maxim is a wonderful guy-thanks to him. I also helped to call a taxi and take a ride to the shopping center. And he solved the cleaning issues. And he just suggested everyday moments. Wi-Fi is weak in the hotel, it is better to buy a virtual SIM card (at the hotel from the guide) with a minimum of 10 GB and quietly distribute Wi-Fi with the whole family and use Viber, telegram, etc. with your number. The location of the hotel is excellent-a promenade, a cafe, a children's playground, carousels, restaurants, bars. Winter-summer shopping center is next to the hotel, 2 minutes walk to the park, 5 minutes to Pineapple shopping center. Lots of restaurants, street food stalls, clothing stores, fruit markets. We are satisfied with the rest.

There are a lot of switches in the room - a smart home that you need to get used to. Breakfast offers everything you need for breakfast , plus noodles. Here I took off the asterisk: for 13 days there was the same problem - the coffee machine did not work, i.e. it broke down with enviable regularity, 4 times I was left without coffee, someone may not necessarily, but it burns right in the morning. The KFC in front of the hotel helped out. Access to the beach immediately from the hotel, which was very convenient in the morning to go swimming, in the afternoon we usually went to Yalong. There is a self-service laundry on the 3rd floor. Clean, tidy, convenient location. P.S. champagne was printed in the room, fantan was poured from the neck onto the bed, the next day after cleaning we were informed that we would be fined 1400 yuan. We collected a duvet cover, a blanket, a sheet, everything where the splashes hit (it was pink) . At first I was very upset by such a surprise, I decided to try to wash it, all the stains were removed with ordinary soap . I invited them from the reception , they came and looked at them , they took them away. But the sediment remained. So be careful, it is not recommended to pour, drop, or burp on the laundry.

I would just look through the hole where my life goes....The breakfasts are plentiful, you have to try a lot first to choose something for yourself. The rooms are perfectly clean. It's a great hotel, everything is on the same level: a rainbow bridge leads to the sea (100 meters to the beach); two bars - one with duck, the other with coconut chicken (the smell is terrible). Great hotel, beautiful. A very good location. There are 2 swimming pools, a lot of entertainment for children. The Rainbow Bridge is a separate sight. I recommend.
