Today it is a beautiful natural and historical site. There are no excursions to it (apparently it once worked as an excursion point, but today everything is abandoned, although they say that some festivals are held there). There are tracking routes with corresponding signs. This is one of the highest points of Bodrum, with views of Bodrum Bay on one side and Torba Bay on the other. Someone may not like it, there is nothing special, ancient foundations, ruined towers, but you need to prepare for a walk. To read the history of this ancient place (this city and its inhabitants were described in Homer's Iliad), then everything around comes to life and makes sense. The road there is quite difficult, so I recommend: 1) Comfortable shoes 2) take water with you, there's nobody and nothing around (we were alone, only occasionally drove a couple of small pickups) 3) since the road there is always uphill, it is better to get there by taxi, take a walk there, and then walk down, enjoying the views (the road from Pedasa to Bodrum Bay is around 2 o'clock in time).

It's a good place, but it's better to get here by car and walk a kilometer uphill, it's not much fun. There are a lot of ruins, there is a place to approach, for lovers it is the very thing. There are no tourists, it's quite secluded.

A secluded beautiful place in the forest, ancient ruins, along a forest path you can climb up a mountain with stunning views. The trail is long, and we didn't reach its end for half an hour.

A beautiful place in the mountains. If you like hiking in the mountains and historical ruins, then you will really like it. It is especially good to climb in autumn, when it is not so hot.

Go or go like me) the gorgeous view of Bodrum, the beauty of the sea, the power of stones, the mountains are fascinating.. Ruins.. I love ruins.. Perfect proportions of blocks and foundations.. The main thing is to find everything that is there.. Go ahead.. Ask, but be sure to bypass all this beauty! A very very impressive view, gorgeous photos are provided to you. I would like to note the granite road - a low bow to those who chose the place and built it.. In the shade..

It is worth going at least to breathe the pine air and listen to the singing of birds surrounded by an ancient settlement. It is better to wear sneakers, the grass in the forest may be wet and the stones are large. There are trekking routes for 4, 7, and 12 kilometers. There is no catering nearby, so you need to take the ox food with you

Small, pretty and almost deserted ruins of an ancient Greek city. Literally an hour and a half on foot from the Marina, but the ordeal is severe, all the time uphill.

It's not a tourist route at all, travel agencies don't have it. But it's worth it. It is very beautiful, picturesque, everything breathes antiquity. We took a taxi to the gate, then there are many signs, a good paved road, do not get lost. It is very convenient to walk back to Gumbet from the hill. I recommend it, get a lot of impressions.

Good ruins. Important: the road to the ruins comes from the left side of Bodrum, not the right! Don't repeat my mistake. If you go to the right, be prepared for off-road and very steep climbs. A dot on the map indicates only a small part of the ruins. If you go further to the right, you will find ruins on a hill with an observation tower. It's very cool there, I recommend

Super place. Both Pedasa and the whole of Bodrum is a very historically saturated place

I came here on foot from Gumbet in 1.5 hours. The cool pine air. A paved hiking trail. It is very suitable for walking.

Pedasa, the largest of the Leleg settlements on the Halicarnassus Peninsula, is one of the eight cities founded on the Bodrum Peninsula by the Lelegs, who are shown as the ancestors of the Carians in ancient written sources. Admission is free…
