The market turned out to be quite large. For any choice from clothes to vegetables and fruits. The prices were pleasantly surprised, much lower than in Uzbekistan. In September, strawberries were 200 rubles per kg, whereas Chorsu was 1300 rubles per kg. It's the same with other fruits. If you are in Khujand, I advise you to visit and taste local fruits and vegetables, directly from the tree/ bush.

Fruits are cheap, and some brands are alcoholic too. Things and other goods are priced the same as in Russia. Sellers, seeing that the buyer is not local, raises the price 2-3 times, you can bargain with some, but not for the price for which the same product will be given to a local. It feels like they see a bag of money instead of a human figure of a visitor. If possible, it is better to go to the market with a local and have him communicate with them on prices. One example, I decided to buy nectarines, asked the seller for the price, he announced it at 15 somoni, a woman immediately came up and asked in Tajik, they announced the price at 10 somoni. I understand the figures and decided to ask why I have such a price, and she has another one, for which the seller made a discount of 1 somoni.

Раньше когда я училась рынок Пандшанбе был местом где можно было погулять и наслаждаться красотой этих мест. Последние годы возле мечети стали тарновать овощами и фруктами! Это очень поменял внешний вид рынка ! Везде грязь и вон . Плита под ногами липкая. Не удобно передвигаться между толпой людей.

Это легендарный, самый большой базар во всей средней Азии. Это достопримечательность города Худжанда и хочу отметить, что этим базаром гордятся все жители Таджикистана. ❤️❤️❤️

Туристу сложно тут сориентироваться, очень большой рынок, много всего - и торговаться не все умеют, а реальную цену не знаешь) но видно, что много свежих продуктов, здесь даже ночью много торговцев на площади, можно купить фруктов-овощей, и даже поесть!
