The territory of the free museum prison, which includes about a dozen iron barracks, is surrounded by a double barbed wire fence with passageways for guards. Tall watchtowers with searchlights rise on the corners, and mock-ups of soldiers with guns and guard dogs demonstrate the reliability of the protection of this place. Coconut Prison, despite its beautiful name, is a place of torture, death, and thousands of ruined souls. There is an assumption that the Coconut prison was named because of the many palm tree plantations on which the prisoners were supposed to work.

I really liked the open-air museum, the entrance was free, because on weekdays, the exhibits are alive!)

A place with a very strong history, it was painful to see all this, and even more painful to imagine all the torments of people.

It 's a creepy place . It is better not to visit the faint of heart . The atmosphere of terrible torture of prisoners is transmitted . But if you are a man with nerves of steel and a psyche, and you are in Fukuoka, you can visit this place once, but it is better to have a guide to tell you in more detail what happened in this place.

It's a scary place. You don't believe that people can do this to other people. The brain defends itself, refuses to take it all in. But you have to come to such places. So as not to forget
