Great place! Walking through the streets of the old town, we came to the Piazza. The square is very interesting, as if you were in Venice ... you couldn't help but sit in this extraordinary courtyard, surrounded as if by Venetian palaces. There are many cafes inside and all are very decent, we chose Georgian. I liked everything very much: snacks, grilled meat, and, of course, Georgian dry red (the waiter advised). The service is fast, the kitchen is super!
The Square itself is a work of architectural art! I definitely recommend you to visit.
The photo turned out to be much worse than it is in reality!

A wonderful, beautiful place, with live music, in general, Batumi is a fairy tale and wonderful people, not like in Tbilisi, although in Tbilisi we only met 2 oddities in 5 days of rest who advised us to learn Georgian, the remaining 98% (if it's young people, the adult generation speaks Russian wonderfully), communicated a little bit in Russian, we speak a little bit in Georgian, in English, and no one has canceled the sign language. We felt very good in this country, more sincere than in another European place (we are our own anyway!).
On the market, they accidentally called lari rubles, Tetri kopecks, we were corrected, make no mistake - they are offended!

We visited Georgia in August. Seven unforgettable days in Batumi. I went to the Piazza. Nicely. I like the combination of modern and old in this city. Cozy streets, I want to walk and walk along them. Cute cafes where we went to try something from Georgian cuisine. Aura Georgia is very memorable. For a long time I could not move away from the desire to swim in the sea, walk along the coastal paths, look at non-stale goods laid out for sale on benches, listen to music, they immediately turned on Kairat Nurtas, apparently a man knows how to distinguish us, Kazakhs)))). He said that he likes our people, and we like your culture, your people. Thank you. I hope to go again...

So , a nice place . Many waiters do not always go to the meeting. There is no physical menu, only the cure codes. And if you don't have the Internet or your phone is dead... then alas and ah - these are your problems ...
without exaggeration, the place is overrated.
The cuisine is mediocre, high-quality products, but about the service, no, we have not heard... A regular butter knife goes with the steak... if you ask, the bartender can share... The portions are huge, but alas not as tasty as we would like...
A separate story is about the artists performing on stage. He can turn on the sound like he's the only one who gets high... The evening program may be interrupted by a call from the minor key and then the musician also goes to prayer... (at least that's how it was the night we got there.).
You can go take pictures, have a cup of coffee, but you can eat in other more pleasant places..
I do not recommend it, but I do not dissuade either...
The price tag is pretty high...

An atmospheric place of Batumi. The square is surrounded by hotel buildings, so it is practically closed from the wind. It's very similar to Italy. This is the main idea. Several cafes. A stage for musicians to perform. A screen for broadcasting sports matches. There are few parking spaces. Nearby there are souvenir shops and the Church of St.Nicholas.

Отличное атмосферно место, в высокий сезон столики из заведений ставят прям в притык к мозаике; иногда по вечерам есть бесплатные концерты. В другое время просто играет музыка. Туалет находится в самой башне на втором этаже, там же выход на балкон с отличным видом на площадь
