January 29
We were with a Child on January 29, 2026, for the first time in the Pobeda cinema after reconstruction. We watched Cheburashka 2 in the children's hall No.2. I can tell you about this room. Since it was a weekday, there were about 7 people watching with us. I think we're lucky! A room with 32 chairs + two lower rows with cushions. We were sitting in the second row, and the view was great. The aisles between the rows are huge, you can stretch your legs. The chairs are comfortable if there are few people (there were few of us, no one was in contact with anyone). I can't say how comfortable it would be to sit in a full room with chairs in the form of a solid sofa shoulder to shoulder with a neighbor, I haven't tried. And to be honest, I would not like to experience this) "There is nowhere to put food" is a minus for many, for me personally a huge plus. No one ate anything at our session and it was just gorgeous! Still, I think you should watch a movie in cinemas, not have meals. And the hall remained completely clean after watching. Stylish interior in the cinema hall. There is a play area for children (an inflatable house, a pool with balls and tag). I understood that you can stay for a while after the session and play. I haven't figured out yet whether this is a plus or a minus. Because you can't pull a small child out of this zone)) And if you play with a child during a movie screening, will it be comfortable for all other viewers?.. One of the obvious disadvantages is the first row with chairs. It will be uncomfortable for the child to look because of the metal side on the glass fence. Will see a stripe on the screen (described in other reviews). An adult will be able to see the entire screen. But these glass barriers are really superfluous in the cinema. And something has to be done about them... Another disadvantage is that the wardrobe does not work. Still, I want to take off my outerwear in winter and watch a movie without wearing down jackets... Although cinema hall No. 2 has three floor hangers at the bottom near the screen, people habitually put their jackets either on empty chairs or just sit in them... But with a wardrobe, this cinema would have played with completely different colors! It is better not to come to the cinema by car. Parking is difficult! Otherwise, the Pobeda cinema is amazing! Intelligent, I would say. The atmosphere inside is very pleasant. There is a cafe on the ground floor, there is a fast food area and many tables where it is advisable to eat this fast food before the movie starts) The cinema is full of relaxation areas where you can sit and wait for your session. There is an art gallery on the second floor (the exhibition changes periodically). You can come an hour before the session, eat, look at the paintings and go to the movie. As far as I understand, Pobeda has a special cinema room for a small number of seats with tables and a menu where you can place an order and your dish will be brought to the session and you can comfortably, without embarrassing anyone and without embarrassing yourself, watch a movie and enjoy a meal. It's a good idea! It remains only for all fans of eating in the cinema to pay attention to a special room with a menu) And there will be happiness for everyone! The toilets are perfect. Nice to come by. The staff is friendly. Both the girl at the checkout and the administrators who are escorting them to the hall. I was pleasantly surprised by today's visit. We will visit Pobeda with pleasure. For me, one of the best cinemas in Minsk today. Beautiful chandeliers 🤍

Pobeda Cinema is the oldest cinema in the Belarusian capital (1950). It is now open after restoration. This is the only cinema in Belarus that has been accepted into the prestigious International Association Europa Cinemas. The Victory building is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus. Today it includes 5 halls with comfortable armchairs and sofas. There is a bar and a buffet. Sometimes exhibitions are held, I happened to visit the Minsk exhibition) The staff is friendly. The toilets are comfortable. Curtains could be hung more modernly!Parking is difficult.

The advantageous location of the Pobeda cinema will make it one of the most popular cinemas in Minsk. After all, it's so nice, walking through the center of the capital, to go watch a movie, have a cup of coffee/tea and have a snack in a cafe on the 1st floor in warmth and comfort. And then go up to the 2nd floor to visit the art exhibition... After or before the screening, you can take photos in organized photo zones, feel like participants in a film festival, for example... And your vacation on this day will become informative and beautiful. I recommend it! 👏🏼🎬
