We were here in December 2025 on a cloudy weekday, there were almost no queues for the cable car (🎫Istanbul card payment), but the tables in the cafe are 80 percent occupied. We drank delicious salep and regular apple tea. A decent location with a beautiful view of the Golden Horn. We walked back down the cemetery: a beautiful and well-groomed alley with lots of cats and dogs

A wonderful cafe with a magnificent view of the city, the river and the historical cemetery (it is located below the cafe level on the slope). Delicious and varied dishes, several terraces, open, closed. Good service, but the prices are slightly higher than in regular restaurants.

A little mixed feelings from visiting this place. It's a very hot place, but Istanbul has a lot of places where the view is steeper and more picturesque. First you need to stand in a huge queue for the funicular, climbing to the top, you get to the cemetery. An observation deck with a huge cafe, right in the cemetery. Grave, you look at the horizon- it's beautiful, you look down at the graves. A lot of people are sitting in the cafe.
