The Soviet theme of interior decoration is visible, romantic. The hall is small, the chairs are comfortable with cup holders. The seating is set up so that even from the most extreme (where I happened to be) it is comfortable to watch a movie. The menu includes 4 sizes of popcorn baskets to choose from and a few more gadgets to "crunch"; enough, but there is no strong exoticism and a huge selection (and I didn't need it). The staff is friendly and courteous. I liked everything

an amazing place in the center of the capital , Soviet style with appropriate music inside. we were in the evening and everything looks pretty scary when the other half of the room is in the dark. the staff is wonderful, friendly, they will tell you everything. I would not advise anyone to take popcorn there, almost every third piece was not fried that you break your teeth. the hall is very comfortable with quite comfortable chairs despite the appearance I can say for sure — inviting a girl here to spend the evening is a very dubious idea

At the same time, the sound and picture are worse than in the Silver Screen, which is quite expected, but in general it is quite acceptable for a cinema. Again, the price for such a cinema is lower and corresponds to the service and convenience. The inclination of the chairs in the hall is not the most convenient, namely there are no stairs, which makes watching a movie not very convenient if there are a lot of people in the hall (you will not watch a movie, but the back of the head in front of the person sitting).

I visited this cultural institution on a Sunday on a gray cloudy day in October 2022. The Pioneer cinema is located exactly opposite the presidential administration. When I entered the hall, I noted to myself that the atmosphere was pleasant. A friendly woman pointed out to my friend and me where hall number 1 is located. Lucky or not, there were only 10 people in this large hall watching, like us, the Wild Man movie. I'll come back one day, I liked everything 🙂

The foyer is completely uncomfortable, one for two with a "Puppet Theater", just blocked in the middle by a small "fence". True, I have never seen a large crowd of people in a cinema, but even the one who comes can't do much to occupy himself. It seems that there is also an artificial pond with supposed fish, but it is fenced off by sofas, in the adjacent territory of the "Puppet Theater" there is a rather interesting museum, but it is open only to theater visitors. There is no buffet, and the choice of standard "snacks", which have already become commonplace in cinemas, is extremely scarce. I agree with your dissatisfaction with the fact that people go to the cinema first of all to watch a movie, but.... I still want to sit in a cozy atmosphere while waiting for the session. Since Soviet times, I remember "October", which they came to half an hour before the film to wander among the "jungle" and admire the parrots, or "Central", which, as students, they also tried to get to early and sit down at a table in a cafe. and

I remember "Pioneer" since childhood. There was a spacious hall with a winter garden, a buffet on the second floor. Now the hall is divided in half, instead of a buffet there is a small cart. Only the greenery has grown. It was better. And the cinema is not bad, comfortable chairs.
