In the daytime, we were not impressed by this place. The usual port. They wanted to take a taxi, but the taxi drivers categorically refused to take lira, seeing foreigners, they asked for euros or dollars and greatly overestimated the price.

The port of a big city. Izmir cannot be called a resort, you need to take a taxi to the nearest beach, of which there are a whole flock near the port. There is also a railway station nearby, a park, a market, an open-air museum, and one of the local attractions is a historic elevator, which is a long way from the port on foot.
