Great hotel! Almost on the very shore of the sea. It's clean and cozy. Room cleaning every day. It is located in a fairly lively place, everything is within walking distance (cafes, shops, pharmacies, canteens). The administrator, Madonna, will always answer any question. Its own beach with free umbrellas and sun beds. There is a cafe where the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Special thanks to Sveta and Margarita! I'm currently on vacation at Poseidon. The first surprise: the guest house takes a deposit! in the amount of 5000 rubles. Not a few) The advantages are clean, near the sea. There is no kettle or cup in the room, meaning you won't be able to drink tea. Just the refrigerator. There's a cooler in the hallway. Your neighbors' clothes are drying right in the hallway (I'm sorry, but that includes underwear) Wi-Fi does not pull, it constantly disappears. I had to enable roaming. There is a cafe: I ate an omelet, fish and tea for 1,500. The road to the hotel is some kind of garbage dump. Shops are within walking distance. There are more decent hotels for this price. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend it.

The first time we stayed at this hotel was almost 10 years ago. We got there absolutely by accident, we just decided to try to relax not in Sochi, but in Abkhazia. And we got to Poseidon. And they have never regretted this decision. My youngest child literally grew up in the arms of the owners and staff of this hotel. No vacation goes by without visiting Poseidon. For so many years, it's like you come not just to a hotel, but to visit your family. The rooms are always clean and cozy. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The linen is changed every 3 days. Excellent cuisine. They can even cook something that is not on the menu. I have extremely picky children, but here they know how to please such pampering)) food can be ordered to your floor. Dinner with a view of the sea and sunset, a special treat. The proximity of the sea. Your own beach, licks, separate towels for the beach. The hotel is right on the beach. And in general, the location is extremely convenient. Within walking distance of shops, playgrounds, Aqua Park, city market. Although for so many years we have already traveled all the sights of this wonderful country, but a visit to the Ritsa is included in the mandatory program and we always book excursions only through the hotel administrator. Because the companies are checked and you can be calm about the safety of the trip, which is extremely important, given the traffic and driving style on the roads, especially along the serpentine. The advantages can be listed endlessly. Thanks to the staff and owners for their care and high level of service. I sincerely wish you prosperity. We had a rest at Poseidon in August 2025. The BEST place for our seaside vacation in recent years! Clean, cozy, comfortable. There is a cafe, the food is delicious. The sea is really within walking distance. There is a private beach area with free sun beds and umbrellas, and beach towels are also provided. The beach is clean. Room cleaning: toilet - every day, room - once every three days. Change of bed and towels is the same, once every three days. Washing in the car is for a fee, 250 rubles. The dryer is next to the door to the room. The air conditioner was working properly, light and water were running smoothly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The administrator, Madonna, is a real lifesaver, a responsible person and a high-class professional! She answered all questions, gave important and necessary advice, and ordered a taxi according to our requests. For individual taxi trips (we went to the island of Ritsa and the Glass Bridge) I advise you to contact Olesya through Madonna, we really enjoyed the trip with her. The hotel itself is located in a fairly lively part of Novaya Gagra. You can walk along the embankment in the evening, have dinner in one of the many cafes. "Adjika" and "Prestige" are particularly popular in this place. For those who do not like to wait for food to order - 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel there are canteens "Mandarin" and "Yakina", prices are quite reasonable, a full lunch is about 800 rubles. This hotel has become the place where we want to return to!

My and my friend's birthdays were celebrated. Beginning of May, 2025 We got an attic room in a corner. The most beautiful view of the sea and the main embankment. Music all day, in the evening a beautiful man sang in the "adjika". Dancing under our balcony right on the street. The beach is just behind the gate. Next to the magnificent Zhemchuzhina restaurant, everything is sooooo delicious. There is also a cafe in Poseidon itself during the season. A gracious and non -intrusive hostess !!!! Transportation is nearby, the hostess will call a taxi herself, excursions can also be ordered from her. thank you very much!!!! The room is clean, cleaning every day. The beds are comfortable, the linen is clean. There are blankets for a cool evening for the balcony. I liked everything!

Review of the Poseidon embankment cafe. We will never come by ourselves and we will not advise the guests of Gagra. We ordered boats, meat , khinkali and other dishes. We wanted to have dinner by the sea. It's just a shame to serve them in the Caucasus! Overcooked semi-finished products, minced meat is an incomprehensible substance. When we told the waitress that frozen khinkali is not served anywhere on the entire Black Sea coast, she replied that "everywhere they are" they bring frozen and boiled. We're in shock. We didn 't eat , but we weren 't ashamed to include them in the bill .

Hello! We rested at the Poseidon Hotel in July 2024. I liked everything very much! Many advantages: the sea is nearby, sun beds and umbrellas are included in the price and it is not a problem to find a free one, coolers on the floors with cold and hot water, snow-white linen is changed every three days, mattresses are soft, there are towels for the beach, the hotel is very clean, excellent Internet, a shared balcony where you can order food from a cafe(the service is free). Balconies are more comfortable on the third floor. There are no power and water outages. In the evening, you can go to the disco from the Adjika cafe, next to the hotel. The music is heard until midnight, then silence. The staff is very friendly. Excursions were booked directly at the hotel from the reception of Madonna. There is a cooler with hot and cold water on the floor, always available. They didn't buy water. The iron is on the floor, normal, and not broken as usual. On the territory of the cafe, I personally did not like the kitchen. The only advantage is that you can order room service. In general, I really liked the hotel. The first coastline, everything is nearby. The only disadvantage is the proximity to the adjika cafe, from which music plays until two in the morning. I assure you, the prices are affordable and do not differ from the prices of any cafe. This is not a dining room where three dishes cost 350 rubles. The cook cooks very tasty, For a hotel of this level (this is not a super-premium hotel complex), the menu and cooking quality are very decent. In Abkhazia, it is impossible to eat for cheap in order to avoid problems with the gastrointestinal tract. And so, the rotovirus does not sleep. The hotel is very clean, cleaning is carried out every three days and bed linen is changed. The service staff is polite and always ready to help with any problem. There is a possibility of free use of sun beds by the sea, which is important for tourists. Yes, there are disadvantages (the equipment is not new, the music is playing loudly, although you understand that there are always noisy and a lot of people on the first coastline), but the excellent location by the sea, wonderful staff (Madonna, Sveta, Saida, Irina, Sergey, Tigran), a friendly atmosphere compensates for the shortcomings. We had been resting since September 22, the rotovirus epidemic had subsided (the influx of children had decreased many times), the sea was +23 degrees, many were swimming, but it was uncomfortable for me, the fruit on the market was around 150 rubles per kilogram. In general, only positive impressions remained from the rest. We know the country, its peculiarities. We came to another country, so we try to respect the traditions, customs and people of the country in which we spend our holidays.

We were in Poseidon on 10/26/2024, a nice, cozy hotel. Clean, very polite staff. The room was on the third floor, despite the cool weather, the room is warm. The cafe in the living room itself was not working. But there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is right on the beach, we slept all night to the sound of the surf, very cool. The hotel has its own parking for 5 or 6 cars, right at the entrance. The prices are very affordable. The hotel has a separate exit to the sea promenade along the sea, there are balconies with sea views. There are all conditions for a comfortable stay. Of the cons: 1) near a cafe with very loud music until one o'clock in the morning, but then silence and the sea surf; 2) towels are clean, but already quite gray and washed. Otherwise, we were satisfied with everything.

We really liked Gagra in general. The Poseidon Hotel has a great location, overlooking the sea. There is a neat parking lot next to a building like the Russian Embassy where you don't have to worry about the car. The hotel itself is not big, I will not say that it is super. But the beds are nice and clean, in winter we were warm there in January. There is really no kettle, soap, shampoo, etc., there is a hair dryer. But if you are not an instadura for whom only photos are important, you will be very comfortable and pleasant. From the room, almost everyone has access to a long shared balcony with tables and chairs overlooking the sea. In the evenings, we left all the rooms, ate, drank, treated each other, chatted as if we had known each other for many years. Next to the right is a Chocolate Maker coffee shop for a hundred rubles coffee on the sand, chic hurabye cookies. At the exit from the hotel, you run into a coffee shop, I advise you to drink coffee there. It is surprisingly clean and sparsely populated, especially if we talk about the end of June. This is the best hotel and its location. We had a family vacation with a child, took a two-room junior suite, a chic room with views of the sea and mountains. Room cleaning is on top. We had a rest in July, we liked everything, as they say, dreams come true. Cozy, clean rooms, friendly staff, the sea is 2 steps away, sun beds are free. Beautiful view from the balcony, especially the sunsets. I want to come back again. The cafe is not bad, for 1 week of rest we tried other cafes and eventually returned to our own. We stayed at the Poseidon Hotel with a family (3 adults) from July 13 to 27, 2019. I really liked it, only good impressions remained from the rest. The hotel is located by the sea, the rooms are clean, cleaning is daily. In the evening, after walking, you can sit at a table on the balcony and watch the sunset on the sea while drinking wine or coffee. The hotel has its own cafe with a sea view, if you do not want to go, you can make an order in the room at no extra charge. The menu is varied, the cuisine is homemade, you can order even what is not on the menu. The beach is private, clean and well maintained, with sun beds and umbrellas, changing rooms and a shower. Excellent speed of free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they will always help, prompt or give the necessary advice. You can book excursions and taxis at the reception, or they themselves will tell you how best to get where and by what and what is there. I really liked the fact that when we asked to stay at the hotel for a while before leaving for the airport, we were given another room, since new vacationers were supposed to come to ours, without any additional payment!
