Boorish attitude towards people applying for documents. I am a citizen of the Russian Federation, I live and work in Minsk. When applying for a visa, I heard from an employee of the visa department that they were taking away work from Belarusians and in general "I would go to my own Russia."
The embassy was quarantined and did not notify the people whose passports they had in any way. I know from my colleagues' experience that other visa centers and embassies have called or emailed people to pick up their passports.
