I was vacationing with my family in August 2023. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the quality of food. There is a small percentage of Russian-speaking vacationers in the hotel, mainly Europeans. Therefore, the hotel tries to keep the brand. Upon arrival, you need to pay a tourist fee in the equivalent of $ 7 in local currency. The hotel is located in the center of Mahdia, which is very convenient. There is a place to go for a walk and buy souvenirs. The hotel has the shape of the letter P, almost all rooms have a sea view (side or straight). But this is on higher floors. The service is good, the staff is very friendly. In the restaurant, you don't have time to blink an eye, as everything was cleaned. The range of food is varied. Every day there are fish and meat dishes in several variations. A good selection of fruits and desserts. Local alcohol is pleasant wine, , beer is normal., whiskey, rum, everything can be drunk. I'm not a fan of strong drinks, but the rum was very good. After the restaurant closes, you can have a coffee or cocktail in the lobby bar. Rooms are cleaned daily.. The rooms have a safe, but you need to give a deposit of $ 40 for the key to the safe. Upon return of the key, the deposit is given. This issue is resolved at the reception during check-in/check-out. There are several swimming pools on the territory of the hotel, there is a children's pool. At certain times, water is turned on on the children's slides. There are a lot of vacationers with kids. The beach area is not small, there were enough sunbeds for everyone. There is only a small nuance, a deposit of $ 10 is taken for a towel at the beginning of the holiday.or euro, then it is returned. And you also need to pay a one-time payment for washing towels (I don't remember the amount, but a little). Therefore, quite a lot of vacationers were with their towels (probably not the first time they rest there). There are several bars on the territory of the hotel, there is always a place to drink... drinks, water, coffee. I've been to a lot of places, but I liked this hotel, despite the 4 stars. I recommend to visit there, I hope you will not be disappointed!

We rested in this hotel for a week from mid-October.
I liked everything: services, food, great beach, cleanliness in the room, large and comfortable. The service staff is polite and inconspicuous.
Expectations were met.

Not bad, but 4* for this hotel is a huge stretch. The rooms are 3*, but high-quality cleaning and the view from the room compensate for the fatigue of the room stock. Cleaning every day out of 11, towels were changed every day, the bed was changed every day, which is a rarity. Room 207, view from the balcony to the inner garden and the sea.
The food is varied, the breakfasts are standard, lunches and dinners are always different, not repeated. Meat, fish, sometimes seafood.
Drinks include soda, powdered juices, tea and coffee.
From alcohol, wine and beer are not bad, but all the parodies of local production for cognac, whiskey, rum - everything is monotonous and everything tastes terrible. There were no traditional Tunisian liqueurs Cedratine and Tibarin, they poured something else instead, which did not taste at all similar.
The territory is large and green, the beach is excellent. Beach towels are not free, you can rent them. Basically, all vacationers with their own.
From the hotel to the Mahdia Medina is about 30-40 minutes by walking, about 15-20 minutes to the fish, which is the symbol of the city.
The staff is different, there are very friendly, there are those in bars who throw a glass, demonstrating their hatred, or to all vacationers, or maybe to Russians. The bartender from the pool bar extorted money openly, demanding dollars daily. It's certainly not nice for your own money to feel somehow awkward because of this attitude.
In general, I got everything I wanted from the rest, so I give the hotel a good rating.
