The touching sculptural sculpture "Farewell" stands in Victory Park at the entrance to the Museum of the Great War. It was installed at the opening of the museum in 2014. Upset and worried, a woman says goodbye to her husband, who is going to war. To the war, from which she might well not wait for him. (The country lost 31 percent of Belarusians). The war separated more than one couple and more than one family for many years, sometimes for the rest of their lives. The creator of the magnificent sculptural composition is Minsk sculptor Alexander Shaternik.
