I want to share my story of Irina Apevalova's treatment — perhaps my experience will help someone make the right decision. I was looking for a dental implant clinic in Novi Sad (I'm deliberately not mentioning the name of the clinic and the doctor's last name), as my friend had the tooth removed and immediately had the implant installed, and she was satisfied. At the consultation, the doctor referred me for a CT scan, and... it turned out that the neighboring tooth had a huge cyst. They suggested removing it along with the problem tooth and installing two implants at once. I was confused and decided to get the opinion of another specialist. At another clinic, they told me: "We will install one implant, and we will observe the tooth with the cyst for now. If it hurts, then we'll remove it." But I've already said goodbye to the tooth, even though it was the last chewable one on this side. However, the record for it is three months in advance. I wrote to the clinic administrators, Dasha and Sasha, and they were able to arrange a consultation for me in two days! I paid 4,000 dinars, but I was ready to give more — I had never received such a detailed and honest analysis of my situation from any doctor. Irina did not just look at the problem area, but analyzed in detail the condition of each tooth, explained the treatment options, timing, cost and set priorities. Irina said: "It's a difficult tooth, but if you're ready to fight, let's try to save it." I liked this approach: first, an attempt to preserve the tooth, and only if it fails— implantation. I signed up for treatment three months later, but… Two weeks later, the tooth began to ache wildly, and swelling appeared. I wrote to the clinic and was admitted on the same day (many thanks to the patient who gave up his time!). The treatment was difficult: antibiotics, gum incision, but Irina and I managed. After the roots were healed and we waited 4 months — the cyst decreased three times! Only then did we put the implant in place of the missing tooth. After another 3 months, there was no cyst at all on the control scan. As a result: your tooth is preserved, the implant is in place — and no unnecessary extractions! It's been six months Now I already have crowns, both on the implant and on the very tooth where the cyst was. I just had a medical checkup with Irina, and the next tooth was scheduled to be treated. I have 100% confidence in her as a specialist and a person. I'm not imposing, but I sincerely recommend it. If you are looking for a doctor who does not rush to remove teeth, but does everything possible to preserve them, perhaps Irina Apevalova will become such a doctor for you.
