On April 2-4, I came to this PSC to change expired IDs. I was refused to change, they said that I should register in Astana (I am from Taraz). And only after a month I found out that according to the law they had to give me a certificate, regardless of where I have a residence permit. Now I've been fined because of them.

A very inconvenient PSC. Apparently due to the lack of people, the guy at the reception gives out coupons and serves them in parallel. The issues take a long time to resolve. If there is a choice and a similar service is provided to, say, Turan, then it is better to go there.
