It is better to book a table in advance (you can use Whatsapp), there is usually a full house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We tried only local cuisine. Beyond all praise! The meat is the freshest, the dough dishes are the most delicate. There is no excess vegetable oil anywhere, nothing burns, everything melts in your mouth. I want to order each dish with an addition. The music will memorize an unobtrusive background. There is no need to go down to the basement, the huge windows overlook the street. The waiters are efficient, the administrator is intelligent, the prices are pleasant. Tips are immediately included in the bill (and this is immediately warned, unlike other places). All staff speaks Russian.

We were at a restaurant with my family on November 23. Russian Russian was very pleasant, There is a menu in Russian, the waiters also speak Russian, good service, efficient. We were on Sunday, there were a lot of people, including locals. We waited for a table for 15 minutes. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable. At about 19:00, live music began, a young guy sang songs in Azerbaijani and English. We definitely recommend it

A wonderful national restaurant. We were in October 22. Very tasty cuisine. Friendly person, unobtrusive, fast service. Lots of people. You can have a delicious breakfast, lunch and have a great evening with the company. Prices are reasonable. The dishes correspond to what is stated in the menu. I recommend you to visit!

A great place in the old town. I received recommendations to go to it from the locals. Lunch time on Saturday is almost full boarding, guests are both tourists and locals.
We ordered: okroshka in Baku, ayran, pomegranate wine, tea, lamb lula, chicken pilaf, kutabs, a couple of salads.
Everything was brought in the correct sequence - first the appetizers, then the main dishes.
Kutabs are simply amazing, lula is the most tender, pilaf is incredible, although you should not even compare it with Uzbek pilaf - these are completely different dishes.
The price of this whole gastronomic trip is less than 80 manats (5k rubles) for two.

Restick generally sucks. I wanted to taste the national cuisine. I took Piti, pilaf, kutab and black tea. This is the worst place of all where I have eaten Azerbaijani cuisine.
Piti, as if stupidly, a jar of stew was thrown with the same ingredients from canned food, not that it would taste delicious, but in fact delicious and edible, but the most delicious piti that I ate at the moment was in Derbent in the cafe cafe Sumac by the lake near the Moon.
Kutab is terrible, the worst I've ever eaten: no filling, no size and over-dried. The abomination.
Pilaf is generally a disappointment. Pilaf was worse only in Kazakhstan. Apparently it is necessary to go to Uzbekistan for pilaf. The rice is overcooked, tasteless, the meat in general "the cat cried" didn't even finish this nausea, I can't even call it anything else.
Tea. It would seem that it is hard to disappoint with tea, especially in Azerbaijan they love it. But it was the most ordinary tea, nothing special. The best tea that I drank was in the mountains of Dagestan, where you just enjoy drinking tea, but here I took it packaged in a store.
The price is also predatory. It's even a pity to give 10 manats for such a thing, but here it turned out to be 30 manats for nothing.
