Everything was done in a friendly atmosphere and we will take care of your health. I consider it my civic duty to report the manifestation of dangerous negligence in the provision of medical care at the Rahat clinic (58A Abai Ave.), as well as violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements by a pediatrician. On March 10, 2026, we went to the clinic with a 4-month-old baby. The diagnosis was made: EVI, rhinopharyngitis, tracheitis, atopic dermatitis, tests were prescribed. On March 13, the condition worsened: a rash appeared, appetite decreased, and wheezing appeared. At the second appointment, the diagnosis remained the same, despite the symptoms. The ENT doctor also limited himself to the diagnosis of acute rhinitis and prescribed standard treatment. A few hours later, we went to the Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital. The examination revealed Koplik's spots, and a diagnosis of "suspected measles" was made, which was soon confirmed in the laboratory. The child was urgently hospitalized. The saturation was 88%, pneumonia was diagnosed, and the condition was of moderate severity. The pediatrician of the clinic was notified of the confirmed measles, but did not take mandatory measures: she did not notify the management and authorized bodies, and did not initiate anti-epidemic actions. The question arises: why didn't two doctors identify a characteristic sign of measles and diagnose a dangerous infectious disease in a timely manner? If you visited the clinic on March 13 (around 9:00 a.m.) with an unvaccinated child, carefully monitor the condition. The incubation period of measles is up to 21 days. Measles is an extremely contagious airborne disease that can cause serious complications. Infection is possible even if you stay indoors for up to 2 hours after the patient. Medical workers are required to identify such cases in a timely manner, notify authorities and carry out anti-epidemic measures.
