It's a great place. We were alone, or we guessed right with the choice, or just good food. Large portions. The beef was the most tender, because I couldn't handle it right away, I took it with me. I liked Brovar. I wanted to dance and have a little drink - here you are! A couple of cocktails, a delicious Caesar salad and wonderful live music! There is a cozy sofa near the dance floor where you can take a break between songs or leave your bag while you dance. The toilet is pleasantly surprised by a shelf for the phone, a roller for clothes, a sponge for shoes and hand cream. In general, taking care of visitors in everything! This is now my favorite vacation spot!

On the recommendation of friends, we decided to visit Rakovsky Brovar. And they didn't lose. The table really needs to be booked in advance (we had a rest on Friday), but it's worth it. Delicious beef tartare, beef cheeks are very tender and juicy. They brew the beer themselves, but they haven't tried it yet - there's a reason to come back again. Receptionists, hostesses, waiters and bartenders are professionals in their field, always friendly and smiling.

PROS:
1) Thank you very much to the waiter on 10/18/2024 (girl, second floor, table near the bar right next to the stairs) for your professionalism, for this charming smile, for very polite communication, for fast delivery, for attentiveness to guests. I ask the management to reward her.

CONS:
1) Dishes. Expectation does not match reality. Portions are minimal and expensive. In the photo there is a plate with fresh vegetables - 39 rubles. Are you serious? For 2 cucumbers, one tomato, half a pepper, a couple of radishes and dill - and it's all chopped "country style"??? Do you have a RESTAURANT for a second!!!
For 3 baskets of bread - 42 rubles? The photo shows the amount of bread in the basket.
The meat plateau is generally at a minimum.
You've really ruined the kitchen.
2) Where is the aquarium?
3) Where are the musicians? Where did the covers come from in the restaurant???
4) The partitions between the urinals have not been washed for a long time, just in old drops.

We hadn't booked a table in advance, so we sat at the bar, first on the second floor, then on the ground floor. All the tables were occupied. We were with the kids too. We didn't really try the kitchen, because we came full. Some snacks. But the price tags are not low. Plus or minus, they are the same as in other cafe restaurants nearby. However, there is a beer of our own production. It's not expensive and it's very tasty. We took sets first, and then we drank the one we liked. We went down to the first floor when the musicians started performing. Unfortunately, I didn't remember the name of the band. The soloist is a young, slender, curly-haired girl. They performed many songs from Sergei Zhukov to "The King and the Fool," but all in the rock and roll style. We really liked it. There is also a "horseradish" on the bar menu. It's common, but I really liked this one. Not strong. It is easy to drink and without snacks.

Delicious food, excellent service. The staff usually works perfectly! On your birthday, you get a discount, dessert as a compliment from the institution. There is live music, the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. If some of the food is not finished, the waiters will take everything with them. There is a children's menu. Put some water in a jug. A place for everyone, of all ages.
The dance floor is certainly not big, but it's not a hindrance)))

I visited this place 25 years ago and I wanted to compare my feelings then and now.
The cuisine is delicious, I would rate it at 5-
Beer is 4, maybe it's subjective, but it used to be better, you expect more from Brovar.
The interior has also changed, leaving the national flavor in the direction of the Irish pub. Texas burgers

Everything was very tasty, but! Special respect to the chefs for the ribs! It's just something with something. I haven't eaten such delicious ones for a long time. It was very reminiscent of the ribs on a tuxedo, hold it a little longer, and the bones will be edible. Great beer, great tinctures. I especially liked it on moonshine. She's really on moonshine. Not on vodka. Just great! It would be possible to bet more, I would! And excellent service from the waitress, fast, clear, convenient, despite the small table. And yes, there's also great live music. Vegetable salad - bitter vegetables and herbs
Borscht is sweet water with vinegar, not saturated, instead of the declared brisket, a large piece of fat floated, the croutons are greasy, not salted, not peppered, without garlic.
Brisquit is one name, but in the end it's a piece of fatty brisket baked in the oven, a dry burger bun, and it doesn't smell like a smoker.
Beef warlocks - overcooked, almost floating in fat on a plate, a microscopic, not tasty filling.
Lemonades - water with syrup is very sweet and not natural …
As a result, they asked for the bill, the waiter took away the full plates of food and did not even ask what was wrong..
I think it's normal for them, I don't recommend this place as much as possible.

The restaurant is located in an authentic corner of Minsk. For me, it's a one-time visit. We booked a table in advance. 2nd floor - for the company. Very dim, gloomy lighting. I had to highlight the menu for reading with a smartphone from my mobile (they did the same at the neighboring tables). The waitress is sad: no emotions, no understanding, arguing ......unpleasant. A man spoils the face of an institution.
It's noisy, there are a lot of visitors.
The dishes that we ordered--- liked something, something less. I repeat, there is no repeat visit!
