I liked the upper lights better, which are not marked on Yandex maps (on maps.me there is). They are smaller, but: 1. Few people get there, because this is plus 180 meters of height along the paths and a few rocks. At the end of September, I was there alone for a while, around 6 p.m. It took 20 minutes to climb from the bottom, and the trekking poles came in handy, especially on the descent 2. Together with the view of the mountain formerly called Olympos, it gives a certain feeling of touching eternity, and not the barbecue area in the park as on the lower ones. The Legend feels better here: "The Greek hero Bellerophon, the son of King Glaucus of Corinth, marries the daughter of King Iobates of Lycia and frees the inhabitants of Lycia from the fire—breathing monster Chimera. He defeated this Chimera and buried it right in this place on the slope, and that's why there are lights coming out of the ground." But there is definitely something in the lower ones, too, I was surprised that they had a tent where you could buy a bottle of water for 50 lire.

I recommend visiting Chimera Mountain in spring or late autumn. There are very few people. It's not hot to climb. Many people wrote about garbage. So in March, when we were there, it was clean. It was a pleasure to take a walk. In some places, the ascent is complicated by high stone steps. Be prepared for this. Wear comfortable closed shoes. There will be a lot of stones. I didn't have enough strength to get to the top. The higher you get, the more difficult it becomes to climb the rocks. Maybe next time we'll make it up the hill. The lights bursting through the stones are an amazing sight. A miracle of nature. It was worth coming here for this. As a bonus, you can see the ruins of the temple of Hephaestus at the foot of the mountain.
