March 18
I recommend visiting Chimera Mountain in spring or late autumn. There are very few people. It's not hot to climb. Many people wrote about garbage. So in March, when we were there, it was clean. It was a pleasure to take a walk. In some places, the ascent is complicated by high stone steps. Be prepared for this. Wear comfortable closed shoes. There will be a lot of stones. I didn't have enough strength to get to the top. The higher you get, the more difficult it becomes to climb the rocks. Maybe next time we'll make it up the hill. The lights bursting through the stones are an amazing sight. A miracle of nature. It was worth coming here for this. As a bonus, you can see the ruins of the temple of Hephaestus at the foot of the mountain.

A very unusual and beautiful place that is worth seeing! Lights in the dark are especially beautiful. Yandex may not set a route by car correctly - you need to drive through the entire village to the point 36.429363, 30.465081, where there are ticket offices and free gravel parking. The ascent to the lower lights takes about 30 minutes, and you need to walk up the stone steps, which are quite high and uneven. You need to have closed shoes, you can slip in flip-flops. It's okay to go up in the daytime, but it's very dangerous to go down in the dark. You must have a flashlight or at least a charged phone with you. The upper lights are located at coordinates 36.43573, 30.45285. But it's hard to climb there, even though it looks like it's very close by on the map. It's even harder to get down, and it's easy to lose the path, especially in the dark. It is highly advisable to have tracking sticks with you. Nevertheless, there may also be a lot of people on the upper lights - more persistent tourists.
