A very interesting building from the point of view of architecture. The town hall itself is made of stone, but the towers (there are five in total) are wooden. It is currently undergoing renovation. Purposefully going to see is a dubious idea, but being passing through, you can stop and take a look.

The town hall itself catches the eye, it looks favorably against the background of the city, majestically. Next to her, right behind the stop, there is an airplane, yes, an airplane! Full-fledged! There is a restaurant opposite the miracle of aircraft building, but be careful, it is open from 12 to 15 (there are such restaurants). We could not have lunch, because the special service, information about which was posted on the back of the door. Fortunately, the cafe on the ground floor, with the help of chocolate, was not allowed to starve to death. In general, it is a pleasant and positive town, you will pass by - do not pass by!)

In 1511, Chechersk received the right to self-government - Magdeburg law. At the same time, a wooden town hall was built for the rada, which was most likely destroyed during the partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the incorporation of Chechersk into the Russian Empire. When the place became the property of Zakhar Grigoryevich Chernyshev. At his insistence, the construction of a new stone town hall began. The town Hall building occupied a central location and was, in fact, an element connecting all the individual buildings into the ensemble of an ideal city. From 1880-1917, the town hall housed the city government, a pharmacy, and a commercial college. After the revolution of 1917-1941– he graduated from a zootechnical school. During the Second World War, 1941-1943, it was a prison of the Nazi invaders. and after the war of 1943-1974 - agricultural college, school and education department. In 1972, the building was half destroyed by fire. And restoration and restoration work has been going on for more than 30 years. Since 2004 The Chechen Historical and Ethnographic Museum is located in the Town Hall building.
